I stayed at the Regal Kowloon maybe 10 years ago. I remember on checking in my room had a nice view out to the sea. I don't recall much else of the room but having stayed in many hotels that is probably a plus meaning it was clean, tidy, fresh etc. I booked again this time as our usual hotel was a bit pricey so given my previous visit it was a safe option. I went on the trip with a work customer and our rooms were on the same floor. On walking in the room it felt cold, uninviting. I immediately got a text from my customer who said "how is your room" - my reply was "grim". The wallpaper was peeling and marked in places, the resealed silicon in the bathroom and shelves had black mould and was dusty in the corners - it looked grimy and dirty. As my work customer put it - he felt he would be dirtier AFTER a shower - I had to agree. We took photos, didn't unpack and went down to reception, Speaking to a guy in the lift who had stayed here 15 years and said his room was "okay but dated" We spoke to reception and showed them the photos. They went away and came back with a room upgrade each to a suite. These featured the same decor and "retro" styling and probably only benefitted from being a bit tidier by the fact as a premium room, it had less traffic. If the first room was a 2/10, this mustered a 6. No hand towels, safe too small for a laptop, staff not even holding doors when exiting with luggage etc. etc. There's more but I have run out of characters! Won't go again.

日本人としてはもう少し清潔感があるともっと快適に過ごせるかな、と思いましたが、ま、こんなものかな?という感じでした。バスタブがあり1日2万歩以上歩いていたのでお湯をはれるのは良かったですが最初に念入りにシャワーでバスタブ流した方がいいです。 エリアは尖沙咀の駅からは少し離れていますが歩いてすぐのところにファーストフード店やカジュアルなご飯を食べれる場所がたくさんあり(横断歩道など通らずいけるので楽)、最寄りのHung Hom駅までもスムーズでこちらの駅からだとHKTDCまで、乗り換えなし1駅で行けるのは便利でした!

Looks are decieving in website photos. Bathtub looks like a child caulked it. Very old and not updated. No USB ports in a business hotel. Had a large desk we didn’t need. But that’s ok. Beds were like sleeping on hardwood floor. Horrible. My back hurt for days after. The lobby had no place to relax either. We ordered a pizza from the place downstairs, it was late. Pizza was good. But my daughter was kicked out for bringing an outside drink. Didn’t see that posted anywhere. Person checking us in for my cousin and my rooms mixed us up, along with the credit card info, everytime I went to the desk they thought I was my cousin and asked about americanexpress card. Which was not mine. Also charged $25 dollars more than hotels.Com said I would be. Hotel charged me extra for exchange rate, hotels. Co. Said around 450$ for 2 nights. I was charged exchange rate to usd and $25 more. I argued with hotel staff and they said I said to charge USD not Hong Kong. Not explained to me. I’m out 25$. The location was great but many hotels to choose from so I won’t go back to the hotel,

Not a hotel for you if you like a clean room!
We had a family room and it was supposed to be a little bit better than a standard room, but this hotel is so old, furnitures and fixtures are worn out. Standard of cleaniess is so bad The bath tub is so dirty and there are mould around the sink and the bath tub. When we arrived, I needed to request for new bed linen since there were some red marks on it. I was honesly worried about bed bugs and checked if we had bite marks. I don’t understand how this hotel can be a 4 stars hotel in Hong Kong. Giving it a 3 stars is an overstatement! Price of this hotel is quite good but if you compare with its standard, it is far too expensive. The only good things about this hotel are location and the 2 queen size beds in the family room. I will defintely not come back to this hotel, not even if it is half price.

場所はいい所にあるので、買い物、食事、コンビニ、ファーストフードがあり大変便利な立地だと思います。施設に着いてはけして良いと言えません。室内は少し古ぼけていてあまり綺麗では有りません。

Worst hotel in a nice beautiful place
Pros: the hotel is very closed to everything u name it, bars restaurants train , etc. Cons: Wifi is super slow, my room is dirty and old and missing one shower door not much u can do. The water from outside the big windows was coming inside cause of rain.

Too terrible
It's a hotel that I've been staying for 15 years on business trips often, but the service and cleanliness are getting worse. I was waiting for the check-in at 3 p.m. and was assigned a room only at 5 p.m., and the blackout began at night and the blackout began until the morning. As a result, I couldn't even take a shower and was terrified. I have no plans to use it in the future.

When I initially checked into this hotel, the ‘non-smoking’ executive room provided couldn’t have smelt stronger of smoke if it tried. Returning to reception, I was reallocated a family room on the 10th floor (1013) which didn’t smell of smoke but this time of mould. Given it was midnight and I’ve worked in hospitality too long to lambast the front desk team for the failings of management and the hotel owners, I stuck it out but the mould in the bathroom was clearly visible and simply down to extremely poor housekeeping standards. Overall, the property is about 10 years overdue a major refurbishment and the majority of staff I encountered during my stay were quite cold. Upon my departure, no feedback was requested and the only interaction I received from the receptionist was “good to go”. I stayed in this property as it was one of the only hotels available near 11pm when my other hotel booking fell through. I now understand why and sadly I would not recommend it to others.

For a 4 star hotel, this hotel has the worst service! There was no one to help us with our luggages because they were understaffed. The bed was hard. The pillows were flat and they couldn't give us extra pillows. The rooms are small for the price. The hotel is old and not maintained well. Breakfast was below average. Stay away from Regal Kowloon Hotel!!!
