This modern semi-detached chalet is located approximately 100 m. from the ski lift and slopes of the Kötschach-Mauthen ski area. It serves as an excellent starting point for beautiful hiking trails in the region where the borders of Austria, Italy, and Slovenia meet. The third bedroom, located on the mezzanine, features two single beds that can be pushed together; however, this mezzanine area is not suitable for adults. You can enjoy the cozy garden, which features a delightful covered terrace
The Kötschach - Mauthen - Vorhegg ski area is a small but fine ski area with 6 km of slopes and 37 km of cross-country trails. Kötschach-Mauthen is located at the top of Carinthia's Gailtal valley, embedded in breathtaking mountain formations, belongs to the Nassfeld - Pressegger See tourist region and offers a good selection of restaurants and shops, various hiking and cycling tours, the Hike World with 25 themed trails and a large swimming pool (water and wellness oasis Aquarena). Other ski resorts in the region include the Nassfeld ski area with 110 kilometres of slopes, the Zettersfeld ski area at the foot of the Schleinitz in the Lienzer Dolomites in East Tyrol with 21 kilometres of slopes or the Golzentipp family ski area in Obertilliach in the eastern Tyrolean Hochpustertal with 12 kilometres of slopes. There are many activities such as hiking, walking and mountain biking. Also visit Wolayersee and Frischenkofel to experience the impressive mountains and lakes. In summer, the Waldbad Mauthen natural pool or the Pressegger See east of Hermagor offer lots of swimming fun!
