The Space:

The Perch by Tiny Away is located in Korweinguboora, just an hour's drive from Melbourne, past Rockbank and Myrniong. The farm stay is just an 11-minute drive from the town of Daylesford, where you can explore attractions like Sault Restaurant, Cliffy's Emporium, and the Daylesford Sunday Market.



A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home with a lofted queen-sized bed, single convertible couch, on the ground floor, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, easy access to water and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.



IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny house,"The Ridge," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence, farm sheds, and animal paddocks.

The Perch by Tiny Away is a cozy farm stay nestled in the heart of Wombat Forest, surrounded by lush bushland, fresh air, and native wildlife. Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, it’s close to mineral springs, truffle farms, wineries, and more.



If you are looking to travel outside of town, this tiny house is conveniently located just a one-hour drive away from Melbourne. In addition, it is only an 11-minute drive from Daylesford, where you can enjoy attractions such as Sault Restaurant Daylesford, Cliffy's Emporium, and Daylesford Sunday Market.



Getting Around:

By car : Located on the main road to Daylesford, 15 minutes drive from the freeway.



By public transport : Limited options. The Ballan train station is 15 minutes away. Contact your host if you require pick up / drop off at the station ($20 per trip).



Driving times :

From Melbourne - 1 hr 20 mins

To nearest town, Daylesford - 10 mins

Visit places of attractions at Ballarat - 30 mins



Other Things to Note:

- Wifi is not available

- No smoking on the property

- Mobile reception is good for Telstra only

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Free firewood is available at the guest's prior request

- Seasonal fresh eggs are available at the guest's request

- Cooking essentials such as oil, salt and pepper are available

- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission

- Please keep in mind that some areas are shared, such as the BBQ grill, chairs, etc

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- STRICTLY NO ARRIVING at the property before check-in time without prior arrangement with the host



Safety Guidelines



- We advise guests to keep an eye on children inside as the stairs to the loft is quite steep

- Guests with infants are recommended to bring their own portable travel cot during their stay

- We strictly advise guests to follow these safety guidelines to avoid potential accidents on the property



Important note:



- Please dispose of your trashes properly as recycle bins are provided

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.



Due to COVID-19, we would like to remind guests that early check-ins and late check-outs are non-negotiable as they require more time to clean and disinfect the property.
