The hotel’s grand entrance promises a refined five-star experience, yet this promise is swiftly undermined by an inefficient and distinctly unwelcoming check-in. The rooms are clean but unmistakably dated, lacking the elegance and comfort one would expect at this level.
Service throughout is disappointing. Misplacing a room key is met not with discretion, but with a charge for a replacement , an oddly penny-pinching policy for a hotel of such aspirations. At breakfast, despite an ample buffet, basic courtesies are absent; staff appear disengaged and management conspicuously focused on form rather than hospitality.
The location is acceptable, but there is considerable work to be done if the reality is ever to match the grandeur of the arrival.
