"A very nice hotel in AoNang. Loved the location. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. A very comfortable room, loved the bed. Had a balcony which was great to wind down on after a day out. Great pool and pool bar. Sometimes it was a bit hard to get a pool bed. Right outside the lobby a bar opened up in the afternoon. Great food and good drinks. Would very much recommend this hotel."

"Overpriced with disappointing maintenance and service We stayed at Holiday Ao Nang Beach Resort Krabi for 14 nights. The beachfront location and large pool area are nice, but the stay felt overpriced for the high room rate. Food and drinks were significantly overpriced. A small 0.33l Singha beer was listed as 155++ THB and totalled 181 THB after tax and service — more than four times the normal supermarket price (35–45 THB). The kids’ water park did not match the photos: no trampoline, one slide missing, and the remaining slides had worn paint and a very rough surface, causing skin abrasions on our children. These issues could easily have been fixed. Service was inconsistent. While the cleaning staff were friendly, many others had poor English and varying attitudes. We had confirmed a buffet dinner the day before, but it was cancelled without notice and we received a condescending response when we asked. The free Kids Club had limited and worn-out activities, and the Kids’ Corner charged extra for nearly everything. Breakfast was repetitive with the same Thai and Indian dishes daily. We also experienced noise every evening until 23:00 from music at a nearby nightclub/hotel. Overall, the resort has potential, but the high price is not justified due to poor slide maintenance, misleading advertising, overpriced food/drinks, inconsistent service, and evening noise. Significant improvements are needed, especially on the waterslides. "

"Meget behagelig hotell. Problemer som oppsto under oppholdet ble fikser med en gang. Vennelig og behjelpelig personale. Ligger litt utenfor sentrum, men meget lett og få transport, i tillegg til hotellets egen gratis transport. God mat på hotellet. "

"Had 4 wonderful days. The staff is friendly - the rooms are clean and fresh. The style is very Scandinavian, so you feel like you are in Europe. The food is very good, especially at the restaurant on ground floor - try the red curry with duck! The pools are nice, but if you want sunlight, you are better of walking to the beach. The gym is very good and spacious, even has a separate yoga room which is great if you are into that. Its pretty close to a river, so you will have to get used to the smell - its just part of an issue in Ao Nang in general."

"This time was a HUGE let-down - and we really regret spending 5 nights here. The location itself - it sits on a large hill/peninsula. This means that no matter where you are going - you will most likely have to use one of the cars they have to shuffle you around. And they have 226 rooms - so you can imagine that there are a large amount of people to move, especially during the busy hours. The issue here is that they dont have enough cars to shuffle people around - so every time we wanted to go somewhere, you first have to walk to one of the pick up locations . Then you had to wait - in average about 5-10 minutes before being picked up. On average - going to breakfast - to the beach, to the gym, lunch, and dinner, we had to do this 6-8 times a day waiting on average 45-60 minutes per day for a pick up! That is just not what I imagined myself doing during my holiday. Increase the number of cars! The staff : Something is not right and they do not seem to be content with their job. There are plenty of staff - but for some reason they are required to take photos of everything they are doing - so they spend more time making sure they have documented their job than to pay attention to customers. The food is utterly tasteless at all the restaurants -we tried them all. The breakfast is great! Gym closes at 19pm - for no reason we can understand. Pools are great. The beach is wonderful. We love Santhiya brand, but we are not coming back, every, again to thiso one. "
