«Down for a birthday party being hosted in the hotel and unfortunately I wasn’t there long enough to take advantage of the pool, but the room was very nice, extremely comfortable bed, great strong shower, tea and coffee facilities etc and the veggie cooked breakfast was delicious. »

«The building itself is quite old and we were three adults in one room, so we did have some trouble with the windows in our getting a bit "damp" and the air a bit stuffy (even with one window open). But the overall standard was great - clean and newly refurbished. Very friendly staff and complimentary tea in the library in front of the fire place - wonderful! The hotel restaurant is also well worth a visit.»

«I would recommend this place to anyone who goes to Cork. Spacious and quiet. We went with our 15 and 9 years old boys and they didn’t get bored as they had their own beds and plenty of plugs to charge their devices. There’s a telly as well where you can login to your favourite streaming services. Internet is super fast, as you can imagine, that’s another reason why kids were not bored. LOL. The communal kitchen is spacious so if you run into another guest, you won’t have that “awkward moment” ...
