«Had a lovely stay at The Barn for a long weekend. So cosy and clean and had everything we needed. Helen was so helpful providing us with a cot, high chair and baby bath for our 8 month old. Would highly recommend for a little get away. Thank you!»

«This was an excellent property, immaculate in fact, plenty of storage ,everything was spotlessly clean, modern and well maintained. Beautiful bedrooms , comfy beds, loads of storage again . Everything had been well thought out . Good enclosed garden great for our dog . Margaret the owner was very helpful , the property was in an excellent position for visiting the surrounding area and Kirk Hammerton itself was a beautiful village and we only wish we could have stayed longer !»

«We were a group of three families (plus a dog) and the house and gardens were phenomenal. The kitchen and the secret garden were our main areas for convening. All facilities were great, and as an avid cook, the kitchen set up and equipment was top notch. »

«Clean, cozy spot really close to historic central York. Parking was really easy and free on the main road. Excellent, fast communication with host.»

«5 star accommodation, only one problem the step into the kitchen . Needs high lighting.»

«Choose ground or first floor apartment as attic apartment is too hot and windows don't let in enough light. Mirror in bathroom fitted under eaves so too low to see yourself in if you're over 4ft tall. No long mirror in apartment either and bedroom too dark to use mirror over dressing table. «Though they mentioned but it be nice to have shampoo and conditioner as well as body lotion in the bathroom.»

«We had a really lovely time staying at Hudson 5. The property is beautifully decorated and feels very welcoming as soon as you arrive. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. The location was also a big plus, being so close to the centre and within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. Overall we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.»
