«Exceptionally well decorated and beautiful home to explore the local area. Very welcoming on reception and everything you could need. Only minor gripe was the upstairs shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold with no in between but sort that and this place is perfect. »

«We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus. The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk. We would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again. »

«The apartment was spotless, except the bath dial needed cleaning as it was a bit mouldy around the edges. (Not easy to see as a cleaner, you’d have to be in the bath to see properly). The pictures online were spot on and looked exactly what we booked and wanted. The whole apartment was so well done, they’d thought of everything but I’d say a few more tea spoons would be helpful (just as I’m lazy and don’t want to wash up often on holiday!) The bed was really comfy, probably the best we’ve slept ...

«Elm tree cottage was the best stay I’ve had in Yorkshire , I visit often and by far the best place I’ve stayed the hosts were lovely and kind and was great to chat too! The location was perfect in a cute little village on a farm close to Thirsk and an easy drive to York. Providing the essentials for cooking and a cozy little cottage too! Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future! »
