Quiet privacy with so many places to relax & enjoy the views of The Northern Neck. Gorgeously furnished! Open floor plan with HUGE kitchen. 760' of private waterfront & huge 46'x22' pavilion with cozy gas fireplace surrounded by comfortable tables & seating to enjoy a drink & relax. Wood fire-pit on the lawn for s’more making & whisky sipping, a sauna, & a steam shower with an IN-SHOWER refrigerator! There's a large outdoor hot tub & 2 deep soaking tubs in 2 of the 6 full spa quality bathrooms! Right off the house, with incredible views of the water you will find two enormous decks, one covered by a 40’ electric retractable awning, the other's for those who prefer to soak in the rays. Down the stone steps you’ll discover your own private beach where you can launch any of the boats provided for our guests enjoyment!

Perfect vacation

Could not have asked for a better host family and house. The house is beautiful and large, 14 of us and we never felt crowded even in the kitchen. Definitely a well equipped kitchen, with plenty of storage space. We only eat out o e night for the week so a good kitchen is a must. Eddy, and her family answer any questions and could not have been nicer. Hope to stay here again some day.

The most spectacular property for multi-generational family gathering!

Absolutely delightful and generous hosts made our family’s weeklong stay at this fantastic home and glorious property an amazing experience. This waterfront home and grounds is far more beautiful, spacious, and immaculate than the photos convey. The hosts have gone to great lengths to stock the house with everything you could possibly need for cooking, bbq, WiFi, dining, playing, enjoying the water, including the most luxurious beds, bedding, towels, robes, etc! By far the best VRBO/vacation experience ever!

Fabulous place with amazing amenities

We booked Lazarus Point for a weeklong family reunion with ages from 2 to 72. Everyone enjoyed the property, and agreed it is even more beautiful than the pictures. There are so many extras that you don't often/ever find in VRBO rentals. She thought of everything and more. All designed to make your stay stress free and fun. Use of the kayaks and canoe was a bonus. Eydie promptly answered all my questions and was an invaluable resource. She was a great help to us in having a fun crab boil - a great experience. Stores are a bit away, so planning your shopping in advance helps save time. Eydie even took us on a wonderful motorboat ride (at a reasonable extra cost) that was a highlight of the week. I would definitely recommend this location and Eydie. She could not have been kinder or more helpful. Feel like a King or Queen and stay here.

A Relaxing Getaway

First, thank you to our wonderful host Eydie, and her boys Tigger and Miles They have created a beautiful house to share. They were always available and responded to our needs. We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, clean and the perfect size for our large family of 10 adults and 10 children. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was open and inviting, plenty of room for everyone to sit and enjoy our family meals. The bedrooms were spacious with wonderful beds and bedding. The bathrooms were incredible. The yard was huge, plenty of room for games. We had access to 3 kayaks and a canoe. The teenage boys escaped everyday, lol. I would recommend bringing floats and fishing rods. If there was anything disappointing it was the beach area, but we made due.

Relaxing and fun

We are three generations. The house accommodated all of us comfortably -- both inside and outside. Everything we needed was there, plus. The large lawn allowed for some outside games (corn throw, lawn darts, croquet). The pavilion was a quiet outside space to read and talk. The living space was more than adequate for the 11 of us to eat, work puzzles and play games. It was a good place to be for a week's getaway from hectice schedule.

Thus far the best family vacation! Host and property surpassed expectations!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable gem of a rental property, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences we have ever encountered. The host's dedication to providing an exceptional stay was evident from the moment we booked. What truly set this rental apart was that the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing phenomenal hospitality and attention to detail. Inside, the amenities are top-notch. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was equipped with all the modern amenities we could possibly need and then some! The host assured us that if we needed anything that was not already stocked, she would try and get it for us! ALL of the beds were plush and comfortable with luxurious linens, ensuring maximum comfort, which we had never experienced before in a rental. The house was spacious and had more than plenty of seating for our family gathering of 16 to enjoy meals together! Our host even brought over some oysters for us to enjoy! We felt pampered by the amenities and comfort this host/property provided! Outside offered a haven of relaxation or recreation with stunning views!

Beautiful property!!

We had a small family reunion at Lazarus Point. The families came from north and south and met here. There was plenty of room for all of us. Awesome bedrooms and bathrooms. There was plenty of necessities to use in the home , which was very helpful since the stores are quite a distance away. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, crabbing, boating, use of the hot tub, bird watching and relaxing all around the greats decks, dock and yard. Thank you for helping us enjoy a fun family vacation!

Annual Family Vacation

The house was spotless and welcoming. It is an amazing house with plenty of space, great kitchen, family room, bedrooms, porch, pavillion, etc.which everyone loved.The property was clean with access to the water, small beach, kayaks & canoe. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Eydie, Theresa and all the family we met were so nice and very helpful. It was a fun filled relaxing vacation for all 15 of us and we highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the memories!

Excellent host. Ready to help instantly. Had a great time at this home and had plenty of things in kitchen so we did n't have to carry many things. Will visit again. We visited on a cold weekend so could not take advantage of the many outdoor activities available around the house.

A home away from home

We stayed at this house for 5 nights. Our group was made of 8 adults and 8 kids(one big family). I was very impressed with how many beds were in the house and how comfortable they were. The bathrooms look great and we enjoyed the steam shower a lot. The kitchen is specious and it is fully equipped. It was such a pleasure to use it during our stay. There are 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers and 2 washers and dryers. The house is perfect for a large group. We had great weather so we used the kayaks every day. There is a lot of space around the house where kids can ran around. We made a bonfire and we also used the gas fire pit. I can add more about our awesome experience but I will just say that the owner of the property is wonderful. The communication was great, we had everything we needed and she made sure we felt welcomed.

Fabulous Getaway

We rented this place for our annual Thanksgiving family reunion & could not have been more happy. It is an fantastic place for a large family gathering. The open concept common area is ideal for large gatherings and includes a huge kitchen, a dining room and the living room. The kitchen is exceptionally well appointed and includes everything you could possibly want - including high quality knives/cutting boards, cookware, bakeware, serving dishes, and even a bunch of spices and common cooking supplies!! The two refrigerators, two dishwashers and two sets of washer/dryers were most useful for our large group. The 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms are exceptionally well appointed & spotlessly clean. We were particularly impressed by the premium bathrooms - one of which included a dry sauna & the other a steam room - we much enjoyed these. There are tons of bath/beach towels, paper towels and bathroom tissue - you dont need to bring any. And the location by the water is stunning!! There were so many fun things to do outside including kayaking, fishing off the boat dock, making campfire in the outdoor fire pit, the outdoor whirlpool, and lounging in the outdoor pavilion with its gas fire pit. There is an excellent state park with great hiking trails & fossils a short drive away. Our hosts, Eydie and her family, were truly amazing - friendly, helpful and attentive to our every need. She even gave us a basket of fresh oysters from her farm & they were the best we've ever had!! Now thats going over & beyond all expectations! We greatly enjoyed this place in late Nov - I can only imagine how much better it would be in summer! You wont go wrong with this place.
