«The view is supreme. The room is very clean and quite well-appointed for the class of hotel. The location is very near to town just up the way to its hilltop perch. A good walk or short tuk tuk ride . The staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was good. I had reason to contact the manager and he responded quickly to sort out my issue. I highly recommend Mountjoy Ella.»

«The room was excellent. Had everything I needed. Only thing I would add is an additional plug socket to the room. Melani was phenomenal from the start and throughout, she went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was made fresh every morning and Melani checked what I wanted and even accommodated things like getting low fat options, which she didn’t need to do. The star of this hotel besides the staff is the view from the balcony! Looking out onto Ella was lovely, ...

«Buona struttura, ottimo host, molto disponibile e cortese. Colazione tipica. Facilmente raggiungibile a piedi (1km) dalla via principale di Ella.»

«This is the place to stay if you come to Ella. It could not have been more perfect. You wake up to stunning views of the mountains and the most delicious homemade traditional breakfast. You can walk straight from the home to town or to hikes and popular sights. It keeps you out of the hustle and bustle of the street so you can really enjoy your stay. 11/10, loved my stay here. If I come back to Ella, I would love to stay again!»

«The property didn’t have our booking so after 1/2h waiting around not knowing what was happening, they arranged another room somewhere else for us. The other hotel was much cheaper and not as nice so we agreed as long as we had a compensation for the inconvenience and price difference it was fine. The owner agreed to give us free dinner and breakfast. The next day they gave us the bill for both, plus asked us to pay for the new room threatening to call the police (but I had already paid ...

«Good view. Ok breakfast. But for the price I paid, room was not as expected. Host was nice.»

«Good Hospitality»

«Fantastisk plass med utsikt rett mot Ella Rock! Veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme verter. Fantastisk god frokost! Stille og rolig og akkurat passe gå avstand til sentrum. »

«Store rom, god plass til 2 voksne og 1 stort barn på familierom. Flott utsikt og fin utforming av hotellet.»

«We stayed at this amazing property for 3 days as a group of four and had a wonderful experience. The mountain views from our room were stunning, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast buffet had limited spread, but everything was delicious. The approach road can be a bit tricky, with a steep, narrow downhill stretch that accommodates only one car at a time. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property!»

«Koslig lite hotell på en «fjellhylle» med fantastisk utsikt!»

«Perfekt placering »

«Horrible experience and treatment. Arrived in the evening and lady st check in told us it was overbooked and asked us to cancel our order and find someplace else, instead of them finding something else for us and fix their mistake. Then the owner arrives and tells us that room we booked is being renovated. So different stories depending on who you speak to apparently. After a long discussion he finally found us another place for the night, but in another bad place. The morning after they were ...
