We are sorry you had a bad experience. We will do our best to address the issues you noted. When you came to check into the room, you had just made the reservation, and the process for the reservation to get to our system usually takes a few minutes, which is why I did not have any of the information at that time. I also asked if you preferred smoking or non-smoking, to which you responded "smoking if you have it". Since your reservation came to us for non-smoking, I changed it to a smoking room and let you know. If that was not your intent, my apologies, I must have misunderstood.

We are very sorry for your loss, but the headboard (which is not in any way connected to the bed frame) falling is a physical impossibility, without someone FIRST LIFTING the headboard and then dropping it. We use the french cleat system, one of the strongest mounting systems in all of carpentry, to attach our headboards to the wall. Upon close inspection we found the wall cleat as well as the object cleat, which are made of solid wood slats, intact and still solidly fastened. Again, we are very sorry, and we do not know what actually happened, but there is no negligence on our part, and this headboard did not just fall.

We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced at our establishment. We will try to do better next time. Just to make sure there will be no misunderstandings in the future, we would like to make it very clear that a VALID picture ID/Driver License IS required for checking into a room, as specified on the site where the room was booked. It also specifies that a room damage deposit of 50.00 will be charged at check in, which seemed to be the cause of rudeness and nasty attitudes, not to mention some very choice and distasteful words, being directed at our staff and establishment in a volume high enough to be overheard AND understood by parties not in the direct vicinity of the check in location. The statements claimed to have been made are untrue. We will refrain from repeating some of the choice language coming in our direction. Again, our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience you experienced.

We regret you had such a negative experience at our property, and will be addressing your concerns. For fairness' sake though we would like to rectify that the business across the street is not a biker bar, but a legitimate business for picking up and transporting motor bikes "Pick Up Motorcycle Transport LLC". We regret the presence of motorcycles/cyclists made you feel unsafe.

We are very sorry you had such a negative experience on our property, and we can assure you that the front desk staff will be reprimanded appropriately. It was however brought to our attention that there were 2 undeclared pets in your room, one of which was a cat, which was observed by three staff members and 2 guests enjoying the view from your room's window. You were, Sir, asked at check in if you had any pets to declare by the manager, to which you responded negatively. If that was a misunderstanding, we apologize and would like to make it right, if you care to explain. We were also unable to find anything in our records that would show that you were at one time switched to a different room, other than the one you checked into initially. We also checked our records for housekeeping (the personnel responsible for cleaning rooms) and found your room marked "DND", which means that your "Do not Disturb" sign was on the door handle each time they came, in which case the staff is instructed NOT to disturb the guest, meaning not to even knock on the door. I can see how that could make someone think that we have no cleaning service. Again, our apologies for this misunderstanding.
