Vi drepte 18 edderkopper første døgnet vi var der. Vi ba om nytt rom, men det var like mange edderkopper der også. Internettet funket bare av og til hvis du stod på rett plass i trappeoppgangen og det var kun bra nok til å lese aviser. På grunn av internettet gikk vi glipp av ting vi hadde lyst til å gjøre som måtte bestilles over nettet, fordi internettet ikke var godt nok. Det var fluer og insekter overalt i hele huset. Når vi spiste frokost, så landet det jevnlig fluer og insekter på maten vi spiste. Vi måtte velge juicen om morgningen etter hvilken som hadde minst insekter i seg, og maten var tam og ekkel. Vi hadde full irish breakfast og den var veldig tam og lite smak i, vi prøvde også pannekakene og de var tørre og smakløse som var ganske tydelig at de var kjøpt på lokalbutikken i pose pakker. Stuen var så overfylt av insekter at det var bare rett og slett utrolig ubehagelig å sitte der, de bør virkelig investere i noen insektslamper og bedre internett. ABSOLUTT IKKE ANBEFALT PÅ NOEN MÅTE!

Very close and walkable to many establishments. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Could use some improvements in the rooms- such as more towels and there were glasses for water, but no water that I saw available to get it. A small ice machine and drinking water station would be nice to fill our travel drinkware. Otherwise, stay was good and breakfast was nice!

This was a beautiful place to stay! Scenic views from our windows, clean facility, so easy to walk to anything in Killarney. We had a great stay at this bed and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and super patient with our toddlers during breakfast times. We genuinely enjoyed everything about this stay.

This stay was unique - not only in the good way.
The location is really good near to Killarney city and the Celtic dance show. You also have a lot of sights around you - both in the city, The National park and the Ring of Kerry, so you can spend many days here. The B&B was both good and terrible.... We got a very, very small room to begin with. The windows closed very badly, so you heard the noise from the road just outside very clearly. You only got one towel and a little bottle of soap per person. The bathroom was small - zink was outside. Shower was so small you could hardly get in there if you are a large person. It was extremely moist in the room. Out clothes got damp from hanging in there which was not very nice. The bedstands was dirty on the top - you could not see it, but you could easily feel it. One bed was broken - you felt the frame of the bed and the springs so it was a horrible night. The next day we got moved to a newly renewed room with a new bathroom and good beds. That was very nice. The windows was also bad in there and still only one towel per person - it would be nice with at least one smaller one for handwas, a bar of soap and a floor towel in front of the shower. Breakfast is very nice - you choose from four variations and get toast and hot drinks. But only orange juice is available. Staff was very friendly. The owner was very eager to solve our problem with the room, which we appreciate a lot, but this room should not be used for adults and one bed neds to be changed.

Si on recherche un hébergement qui allie accès à la riviere, au lac, au centre ville, avec le charme de l’authenticité irlandaise, que l’on veut discuter de poésie ou de littérature irlandaise avec Maria dans un salon au coin du feu avec vue plongeante sur la riviere qui s’écoule nonchalamment, alors c’est The Place to Be.

The property location is beautiful right on the river so the views are very nice. However the property hasn’t been updated and the room we were in smelled very musty and moldy. We were given two bath towels and two small shampoos on the bed and there was no hand towel or soap in the bathroom for us to use so we were using that shampoo. There is a couple bars 5 min walk down the street but the main town is a 25 min walk at least. It wasn’t worth the money for the property at all you can stay somewhere nicer for a better price.

Avoid! There are way better BnBs The bed mattress was so cheap that you could feel the springs poking through, making it uncomfortable as a bed. There were other beds in the room, but they did not have any sheets. When I let the owner know, she seemed uninterested in the “little things” and was franking irritated by my feedback

Relaxing!
We stayed here as a family and really enjoyed our stay. Friendly welcome from Mary the owner and nice spacious room overlooking the beautiful river. The communal area has a really nice sitting room with sofas looking out on the water and a roaring fire to keep you warm. There are also seated balcony areas to sit out and enjoy the view. The breakfast was lovely and the staff are so pleasant! Free wifi thoughout the property.. We Will stay again.

Excellent accommodation
This was a comfortable place to stay, amble space for 3 of us with everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing with great views of the river. Highly recommend others to experience this great accommodation!

The staff, location and views were great. However, when we checked in, there were old contact lenses sitting on the bedside table and a tv remote with no tv. You could also feel the springs in the beds. The second day after the room was cleaned there was no bag put back in the bin. The walls are extremely thin so we were awake along with our neighbours.

Nice location but a bit dated.
Nice location on the river with a great view. Breakfast was good and the location on a main road in Killarney made it easy to get directly onto the Ring of Kerry route. The B and B was a short walk from the center of Killarney for easy access to shopping and restaurants. The Killarney View could use a makeover. It is a bit worn and the room was small and a bit unkempt. The bathroom was tiny, but useable. A good choice for budget travelers looking for a place to sleep but no frills.

הגענו לb&b לגלות בית המרוחק 1.8 קמ מהמרכז ,שלא כמפורסם. הריח בקבלה היה של חומר מחטא (הזכיר לי ליזול צבאי..). החדר נקי אך קטן .הזמנו מטה זוגית וקיבלנו שתי מיטות האחת בגודל מטה וחצי בלבד.... הריהוט בחדר הקטן היה מינימליסטי ושבור. חדר האמבטיה סביר . נקי. א. הבקר דלה ובסיסית . הנוף הנשקף מהחדר היה יפה. לא קיבלנו תמורה ל 100 היורו ששילמנו.

Not worth a stay
Their website talks about recent renovations - I did not see any evidence of that. If they have done renovations, then I would have hated to see what it looked like before. I won't be staying there again even if I was offered free accommodation.

Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen! Die Lage ist gut wenn man mit dem eigenem Auto unterwegs ist. Der Raum war eher klein und das Bad noch kleiner. Aufenthaltsraum und Frühstückszimmer. Waren sehr schön und gemütlich. Das Frühstück war gut und das Personal sehr freundlich

Convenient location, okay quality.
Stayed two nights. The wifi didn't work for one night. Then when we went to check out the credit card machine wasn't working so I had to go down the street to another hotel that had an ATM to get cash to pay. The rooms didn't have much sound proofing so you could hear everything from the hall. Open windows are the norm in Ireland, however this location along the river invited lots of insects in. Breakfast was good and fresh cooked. Overall the convenient location trumps the small inadequacies.

Awful as so cold and damp and smell of mildew Girl who took breakfast order did not recall we ordered tea and toast so had to reorder Eggs were salted when I don’t add salt when not asked for this ? Porridge advertised on menu with honey yet not evident and after eating was informed honey was at another table ? Linen was shocking on bed as torn duvay and unacceptable for guests No window blind on bathroom yet paint used to block out light ?? Upstairs lounge had log fire. However man on reception did not have the milk of humdn kindness despite me saying my 87 year old mother was so cold to add a match to give her any level of comfort despite bedroom being also cold and damp and musty ? Serious training. Issue in basis hospitality required in this extabkuahmrbg as very disappointing and only needed some basic tenets of hospitakity training to be adhered to that wound have made such a difference Sorry but will be writing to tourist board and inspection body re this as not good enough in this day and age ?
