Fine omgivelser og utmerket hotell
Veldig entusiastisk resepsjonist, man følte seg velkommen. Utrolig stort rom med fin utsikt, seng og bad. Vi spiste middag på hotellet, det var godt men litt dyrt. Stor frokost. Strømmen gikk under frokosten, men de ansatte håndterte det godt.

Et hotell med sjel
Vi bodde to netter på Cahernane House Hotel, som er lite og intimt med 38 rom og hyggelig personale. Perfekt beliggenhet i gangavstand fra sentrum i Kilarney og i tett opptil den vakre nasjonalparken og andre severdigheter. Hotellet har et sus av svunne tider i beste forstand. Med komfortable rom, en hyggelig restaurant og bar i kjelleren, har man valget mellom å hygge seg hjemme eller å gå på byen. Dessverre tillot ikke været at vi utforsket hagen.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. They had bikes we could use to ride through the countryside. It was a very memorable experience. The breakfast was very good too!

We would highly recommend this property, it’s an elegant historical hotel and every room is unique. It’s really well located in the town and the staff made the visit extraordinary. The food is excellent also!

This property was absolutely beautiful. I stay in what I call "work hotels" all the time and was excited to experience a unique boutique hotel stay and The Cahernane House did not disappoint. The inside and the grounds were simply beautiful. We ate at the pub because we didn't want a fancy meal, but we ate in the restaurant for breakfast which was also lovely. Highly recommend if you are looking for a special place

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this hotel is. The location, the rooms, everything. It’s gorgeous! The food in the restaurant was amazing, and the service everywhere in the hotel was great. Wish we would have stayed there our whole trip!

I loved every minute of this stay. The hotel has quite the history and it was wonderful to be there. The grounds and hotel are beautiful, and the rooms are over the top comfortable. I have never seen a cleaner bathroom. I really enjoyed the breakfast. We received an unexpected complimentary room upgrade and that was such a pleasant surprise. The staff are more than accommodating and are very service oriented. Excellent communication. I would love to have been able to stay longer. A+++++.

This is a perfect place - heaven on earth. I loved every aspect of this hotel. The food and restaurants were fantastic, the views were breathtaking, and the things to do around the hotel are wonderful, and the room and bathroom was lovely. I loved being able to take a bike that the hotel loaned out to the Kerry National Forrest and see all the sites. This is a place is a MUST. If I could, I'd live here.

The rooms are beautiful. The showers have a fantastic rain shower head. The bed was comfy and we loved the soft robes. Just walking the grounds and seeing the scenery is worth your time. The restaurant has delicious meals- we had both breakfast and dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful.

A very regal step back in time.
What a magical hotel, it is like stepping back into time. The hotel staff could not have been nicer, they were very responsive. The decor was of an old, very rich manor house. The rooms were huge! Antiques were everywhere. The grounds were amazing, we were in awe everywhere we looked. The Cellar Bar was very cool and the drinks were fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Stunning historic house and idyllic grounds, comfortable and luxurious room with aview and super comfy bed) (#20) - perfect mix of charm with modern necessities. Easy 20-25 minute stroll from town and train station (if your luggage has wheels). Have been to Ireland several times and highly recommend this hotel as well as the Killarney/Kerry area.

Loved it!
The hotel is amazing! The staff were great and our room (The Evergreen) was gorgeous!! Room was well appointed, bed was comfy, bathroom spacious. By far the best place we stayed on our road trip through Ireland.

Wonderful respite
We were there for one night only as we had to drive back to Dublin airport. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful grounds. Check in was easy. Dinner in the cellar bar was delicious. Todd, our bartender and service staff were excellent. Our room was on the upper floor. Very comfortable. Water pressure for the bathtub was low. Yes, I recommend staying here.

Excellent return visit
Our second stay at this hotel and it was everything we remembered. The staff are truly excellent - efficient, eager to help and friendly. The bar is a bonus if you don't fancy having a full-on meal. We opted for a suite this time and it was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. We look forward to a return visit.

Highly recommend Cahernane House Hotel if you're going to Killarney. We stayed in the carriage house in a ground floor room looking out onto the lovely courtyard, fields, and mountains in the distance. Breathtaking. Our room itself in its furniture, layout and decor was the perfect combination of simple/modern, and old-fashioned/luxurious - with a very comfortable king-sized bed, and a spacious bathroom with separate shower and large bathtub - and small touches like antifog mirror. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, and the breakfasts were tasty. We borrowed bikes one evening and biked around Killarney National Park, which was great. My only very minor complaint is the hotel could use to get some better bicycles, but I suppose it's tricky because if the bikes are too nice, they might disappear...
