Nice condo on the third floor, well equipped, walking distance to the beach and clean. Parking was not an issue. Be aware, the instructions you get via email are different than the ones in the condo… slightly confusing. But all in all a great place to stay in Kīhei.

Vers charming apartment close to the beach (5min walking). The beach is amazing!! Restaurants and shops also next door (via foot). Clean apartment with modern inventory, but bathroom could get renovated. Friends host - always helpful!

We love Maui Vista

The unit met our needs - we love staying at Maui Vista for the nearness to Kamaole Beach I. The unit had the basics and aside from the cleaning from the previous visitors not being quite finished (but Malinee was VERY responsive!), we were satisfied with everything.

Broken bed and no communication from host

Check in was easy, host messaged us well in advance with the key code and instructions. The apartment was clean and had all amenities that you'd need. But then it went downhill. We messaged the host as soon as we checked in to ask for a late check out. No response was received for the duration of our stay. The host had her phone number listed but we are from out of country and don't have international calling, so we rely on the app for communication. We were very disappointed. It would have been nice to communicate with the host because after going to bed on the first night we discovered the bed was broken and didn't support the mattress, so we had to sleep in reverse with our feet at the head board. We turned the AC unit on to cool the room down before going to bed and the neighbour immediately came over to complain about the noise from the AC, so we felt hesitant to use it for the remainder of our stay. I also had to clean the filter on the AC unit in the living room since it had an alert pop up saying to check it.

Good Location for Exploring Maui

We stayed 8 nights at this condo. It is located in the heart of beach district in Kihei. From this unit it's about a 10 minute walk to the beach because the unit is in the back of the complex. This appears to be an older complex of mostly one bedroom units. The unit is long and narrow with the bedroom in the back. There is no usable window in the bedroom. The louverd windows open directly to a common hallway. They did supply a portable room AC unit for this room. There is also a celling fan which we used. We left the screen to the balcony open most of the time to stay cool. Overall the unit is kind of dated. The kitchen cupboards are very old. One drawer was broken with an out of order label on it. Since we were mostly only here to sleep the unit was satisfactory. If we were going to live there for an extended period, we would not have been happy. The best thing about this place is the supplied beach chairs, umbrella and towels. The location is fairly central for exploring all of Maui.

Great property and unit!

We always enjoy staying at the Maui Vista complex - great location, proximity to beach and restaurants, and good amenities. This unit was quiet, great views and well equipped with everything we needed for a 2 week stay.

Clean and tidy

We had a great short stay in Kihei. The accommodations were great for us. I’m thankful for the AC units. It was a bit warm in the afternoons but the AC units were quick to cool things down. The location was great and could walk to many places located near by, especially the beach!

Comfortable unit, Good Value

We were attending a destination wedding. This was the perfect place for us. Comfortable bed .. nice amenities.. Beach chairs were a bonus .. Beach across the street . Lots of paking and nearby shopping.

Nice place

Nice little condo with great amenities on lovely grounds with great bar b ques. The location is perfect - within quick walking distance to beaches, restaurants, little shops and church. Also, just a quick drive to larger shopping centres and different beaches. This location is easy to get to and offers privacy once you are here. We appreciated the starter items that were left in the condo, as well, we enjoyed the beach chairs.

Comfortable home base for our Maui get-away :)

Wonderful communication with the host. She was very helpful, and all the details of this condo are accurate. A few extra house rules than are typical for these kind of rentals, but they are easy to go along with and clear in the welcome binder in the living room. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioner in the bedroom cools down the room quickly. The condo has all the necessary and extra convenient amenities making it a good place to rest, and repack between adventures. We didn’t spend hardly any time inside. Many thanks to the host!

beautiful views, ease of access

The view from the porch at sunset was almost as wonderful as the beach access right across the street. If you’re looking for a quiet, home-y environment close to everything (shopping, some of the best food trucks in the country) this is your place. Mahalo for a wonderful Maui condo!

Clean and convenient with a great view!

The location of this condo is great. It is a short drive to the grocery store & Maui Brewing Company and walking distance to the beach. Malinee was very welcoming and communication with her was superb. The condo itself is just as shown in the pictures. We particuarly enjoyed the lanai and its excellent view.

Great location, short walk to beach

My husband and I stayed for 3 days on the front end of a business trip for him. It was a great property for us. It's a small unit but plenty big enough for 2 people. The lanai overlooks the ocean in the distance and the pool and tennis court in the condo complex. We were supplied with beach towels, coolers (a big one and a smaller one) and beach chairs. These all came in handy for our beach adventures. An umbrella would have been nice to have as well. The bed was a bit firm for our tastes. If you are a late riser, you may want to bring ear plugs, the birds are early risers! We loved the location of this condo. It was within walking distance of the beach and quite a few restaurants and stores. We also had a car and parking at the complex and around the area was plentiful, even being there on a weekend. We hadn't been to Maui before and after seeing some other areas of Maui we decided we liked Kihei best and we'd like to visit it again. We really enjoyed the "vibe" of Kihei, it felt like a beach town and the locals were very welcoming.
