Grand Champions #50, Great Location Near Pool and Hot Tub, AC Throughout

Wailea Grand Champions #50 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2nd floor unit (no elevator) with a garden view at the Grand Champions in Wailea. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen, king bed in the master, king bed in the guest room and a queen sofa bed in the living room. Wailea Grand Champions #50 can sleep up to 6 people. The view is of lush tropical landscaping and has a good location to the pool and parking. This property has window unit air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms, washer and dryer, Cable TV/DVD, and internet service.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

The nearby Ulua and Mokapu Beaches are a quick drive down the hill from The Grand Champions Villas in Wailea. The complex is surrounded by lovely tropical gardens. It is located in the exclusive Wailea Resort. The complex offers two swimming pools, sundecks, spa tubs, restrooms, showers and barbecue grills. In addition the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena are minutes away as well as the famous Wailea Tennis Club. Wailea Grand Champions consists of 188 units in 20 two- and three-story buildings. Each unit offers a lanai with garden views.
Please note: This unit is on the second floor with no elevator available.

Great condo in Wailea!

Grand Champions is the perfect place to stay in Wailea…so close to everything walking or driving…shops, coffee, restaurants, ice cream, beaches! We loved the two pool/hot tub options and used one or both every day! The condo had a beautiful view of the ocean and overlooked one of the two pools. It wasn’t noisy at all to stay that close to the pool and we loved the quick walk. It’s a great space for a big family..two big bedrooms, two big bathrooms and a nice kitchen with everything you need. I would say the only thing that could maybe improve is that it needs a fresh coat of paint and maybe a little refresh on some of the furniture but honestly, you are in Maui, you are there for everything that’s outside the condo and the area was amazing! Also everything on the grounds..landscaping, pools, etc is very clean and kept up so nicely! We will definitely be back!!

Large Comfortable 2 Bedrooms

We stayed 4 nights. The unit was clean and relaxing. Both bedrooms were spacious and one even has a desk/work area. It is an upstairs unit so be prepared to carry your luggage up. The property is clean and in walking distance to restaurants/shops. It even has an urgent care nearby. We did not use the pool but it was available. There were towels and beach equipment available. Overall great stay.

Wonderful Wailea Retreat

We enjoyed our stay in Grand Champions #50 so much. The complex itself is quiet and well-maintained and in the nicest area of Maui close to amazing beaches, good restaurants, etc. The unit had been upgraded in the kitchen and bathrooms, which was nice. It was spacious and had everything that we needed. One small note would be to refresh the bed linens and beach towels as these seemed quite worn. Overall we enjoyed our stay immensely and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Family Getaway

We enjoy Grand Champions and have stayed in this unit before. It met our needs well again. Feels spacious with the high ceilings. Kitchen well stocked - can't think of anything we would like to see added. Used the A/C occasionally and it cooled down quickly. The condo was clean. As I commented before, ( and as noted by other reviewers) it would be a huge improvement if the carpets were replaced with all tile/hardwood. These condos work hard - difficult or impossible to keep the carpet clean/free of stains.

Another great stay at Grand Champions

We were very happy with the condo. The kitchen was very well equipped. Lots of pots and pans, Tupperware, sharp knives and the ice maker worked awesome. Didn’t buy any ice. The location was very close to the pool which you can see from the oversized lanai. Fans in all rooms which we opted for at night instead of listening to the ac. I would definitely stay here again. Jean was a pleasure to deal with. Mahalo

Maui, January 2024

The condo is as pictured and in a great location. Parking space was next to the short walkway leading directly to the door. The condo was generally clean if only a little tired - a few burnt out light bulbs and worn upholstery. The mattress in the master bedroom had what appeared to be an added foam pad - I should've taken it off and slept terribly. We would expect a rental in Maui to have beach chairs and umbrellas for four. This was the first time visiting Maui that we were short one umbrella and the owner suggested a local business where we could rent an umbrella. On a side note, when we arrived to the unit at 4, housekeeping was still there cleaning the unit. She was very friendly and we didn't mind but we would expect the unit to be ready as the check out is at 11 and check in at 4. Additionally, a very friendly agent stopped by to drop off two parking passes and was very accommodating and helpful.

Memorable stay in Wailea

We had a wonderful trip and the accommodations were perfect - quiet, clean, great location, clear communication. This is our second stay at a Grand Champions place and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Grad celebration

Condo was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for a great 10 day graduation celebration stay in Maui. It is an easy and close walk to the shops and has a great sunset spot. It has 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and some towels for making all beach adventures comfortable. There are plenty of coffee filters, and some other condiments already at the condo. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!

The property was excellent, very clean, fully stocked kitchen supplies! Comfortable beds, large bedrooms! Washer/dryer was a big plus! Gorgeous sunset from balcony! Parking space was provided and in front of the complex! I love all the extra amenities of beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and even pool noodles and a swimming ring! AC unit was a bit loud, but everything else was perfect! I would definitely stayed there again!

Nice Bright and Well-Equipped Unit

Grand Champions are the only affordable condos in Wailea/McKenna. I've been coming to Wailea for over 20 years. This unit was clean, bright and very comfortable. The only criticism is the information we were emailed about how limited the items at the condo would be turned out to be inaccurate - a pleasant surprise! There were plenty of coffee filters, tons of beach gear, some extra spices, etc. We would rent here again.

Return Visit to Grand Champions

We have previously stayed at Grand Champions and always enjoy the walk to the beaches and shops. The grounds are consistently well cared for. The complex is quiet. We did find the pool area to be slightly noisier than we anticipated and quite a bit of BBQ smoke came the direction of this condo which is something you may want to be aware of if you are sensitive to this type of thing. The condo felt very spacious as did the lanai. Nice patio furniture with lounger and umbrella. The condo carpets are badly stained as others have mentioned. Even the strategic placement of some area rugs would help make this less of a turn off. The doors and walls could also use a wash/paint/freshen up. Otherwise the condo generally felt clean. I did get the chance to wash the kitchen floor after I broke a glass bottle and did note that although superficially clean there was plenty of ground in dirt. ( It is clean now after I went over it several times to ensure no glass was left behind). I also did a quick clean of the kitchen lights over the island - they were dusty and grimy..... The bedding was a nice quality and smelled fresh. Areas that can sometimes be scary in a VRBO were all clean and tidy ( such as under the sink). Good supplies in the kitchen. We always follow the use some/leave some principal in VRBOs. We appreciated the beach chairs/umbrella and large cooler. You may wish to bring a smaller cooler bag if you only have a few items to keep cool. There were no ants or other critters. Jean was great - fast and pleasant to communicate with. I have not received my damage deposit back yet but hopefully in the next few days.

Grand Champion Wailea

We stayed at the cond end of February barely in to March 2023. Great place. 2 pools/spas are kept very clean tended to every morning. Not super chlorinated like huge resort pools. The condo is situated just above the pool, spa, bbqs, so you can easily pick your times based on occupancy. Assigned parking couldn't be better. So close and never a worry that it'd be a scramble for a spot, can't understate how nice that is. The place is basically two primary bedrooms with a living room and kitchen in the middle. Beds were comfortable. My teenage son took the pull-out couch bed. I'm always a little worried it wont be comfortable, but my son said it was good after night one and said the same at the end. Very clean, kitchen was fully stocked. Washer and dryer is out on the large balcony worked great. I brought my binocular and spotted Wales ever day from the balcony. A/C'S are enough to keep the place cool. The location is cool, but I am an explorer and like to drive my rental car to new spots beaches restaurants etc every day. If you like to walk to the sand in 5 minutes or less, this isn't that. Parking at our top 5 beaches is no problem on the wailea side. We bring chairs and ice chests umbrella(provided) and snorkel gear so driving works for us. Grand Champions in general is a nice place with a laid back way about it. Great landscaping all around. This condo offers a great value. Jean easy to work with.
