Things to Know
A few things we would like you to know before you arrive, so your stay is as comfortable as possible.
🌡️ Colorado mountain homes are not typically equipped with central air conditioning. Thanks to the cool alpine climate, summer evenings generally range between 45° and 55°F. Opening the windows allows fresh mountain air to naturally cool the home, and portable air conditioning units in the living room and the primary suite, plus portable fans, are provided for added comfort.
🏔️ Keystone sits at about 9,300 feet. We recommend taking your first day gently and drinking plenty of water while you adjust to the altitude.
⛳ The home overlooks an active golf course; please keep an eye out for golfers on the fairway in summer.
🚙 Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is highly recommended from October through May.
