This is a fantastic home for seeing the Keys and particularly for families. Excellent hosts with easy communication and instructions. Very convenient and the place has everything you need. We could not have been happier with our stay in this property! Upon walking in we could smell its cleanliness, but not in the over-chemical way. The unit is very well decorated and the Castillo's have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable, from the Wi-Fi QR code to fantastic use of a label maker! The kitchen is VERY well stocked -- probably the best of any rental in which we've stayed. We appreciated that there were adequate towels for us as well.The property is quiet and family friendly. We spotted two manatees in the marina and enjoyed swimming in the lagoon. With Everglades National Park and Key West reasonable drives away, this unit makes for a perfect spot to enjoy all that south Florida and the Keys have to offer.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing with us!

This beautifully decorated unit is very clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured. Henry is a very responsive, helpful host. The kitchen is fully stocked. Beds are very comfortable. Located close to restaurants and attractions.We were able to enjoy a relaxing setting overlooking the lagoon.

We absolutely loved spending our vacation here! Super clean with beautiful, modern, island decor. Plenty of room for us and our two teenage boys. I cannot say enough of how accommodating the owners are. Everything is available for a fun, hassle free vacation. Kayaks, lounge chairs, tennis rackets, fishing poles, beach towels, games, coffee, washer, dryer with detergent, cleaning products, foil, plastic wrap, even a nice blow dryer with diffuser. The property is beautiful and well kept with a nice swimming pond, pools and a little beach. My kids loved fishing off the jetty. Perfect location in Key largo, with walking distance to restaurants and bars. Safe, friendly neighborhood. The owners were very communicative and quick to respond with any questions we had. We will definitely return and highly recommend this unit. Perfect for a family vacation! Thank you for providing your beautiful home and accommodations to make our first stay in Key Largo perfect!

Fun in the Florida Keys

The property is well maintained and clean. It was a nice central location between Miami, the Everglades and Key West with nice dining options a quick walk away. The property manager Diana was very quick to respond to our questions.

Great unit and wonderful property

This unit, is a two-story condominium with a “great room“ on the ground floor and bedrooms upstairs. The larger bedroom has a king size bed and bunk beds making it perfect for a family with 2 children. The second room accommodates 2 people well, and has a large west facing deck off the room for lovely sunsets.There is an enclosed patio that leads out to a small yard area with lounge chairs. It was very nice to be able to sit out in the evening after the children went to bed. There are two swimming pools which are very nice, but the biggest draw for us was the sandy beach and saltwater lagoon. The unit provides two small kayaks, which were greatly enjoyed by the children.Another feature we enjoyed was walking out to the jetty. There’s a very nice area there with attractive seating and two charcoal barbecues. We often walked out to the end of the jetty in the evening to watch the sunset.The host was very accomodating and communicated well.

When can I go back?

This unit was adorable and checked off so many boxes. The beds were comfy, the location was great, it was safe, and had every amenity we needed. The decorations and vibe were on point; even lightly decorated for Christmas! Plenty of outdoor amenities in this complex; the jetty was the best for sunsets. This unit has the best backyard space over other units; it was larger and had a hammock and lounge chairs. Only negative was that complex locked pickleball/tennis courts and wanted you to check out a key.

Great place with little kids

Nice property, cleaned and very well decorated. Great amenities around if you travel with little kids (small kayaks, kids pool, etc). Our kids are 19 and 17 so not as much there for them to do but we enjoyed the tennis and pickleball court. The kitchen appliances would need some upgrades. We had a couple of rainy days and attempted to do some cooking and couldn't make a decent omelet with the pans available. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Still a great stay

This is our second time at Kawama, and we love staying in this particular property. It is always clean and comfortable. We love the lagoon, the fish, the pools, the screened in porch, as the mosquitoes can be bad in the Keys. The property is nicely decorated, bright, and beachy. The only thing we really missed was the golf cart that was available last year. I hope another one becomes available in the future. Adult size kayaks would be amazing, too, as our preteen has outgrown the child size ones, and we would like casual access to them as well. Rentals are available for both nearby, but we couldn’t justify the additional cost for occasional use.

Perfect!

Gorgeous home, great little community. We wanted a very laid back vacation, somewhere we could go and not have to travel much. This was perfect. The community had plenty to entertain my teenagers and small children. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. We felt very much at home!
