Welcome to Continental Inn Condominiums in Key Colony Beach, Florida known as “The gem of the Florida Keys.” Our Non-smoking Condominium is fully equipped and furnished to meet your vacation needs. You are only minutes away from the boating, fishing, snorkeling and diving North Americas only living coral reef. Our Tropical Paradise is perfect for a quiet/romantic get-away or a fun-filled vacation with family and/or friends.
Our oceanfront property includes a private heated pool and private beach retreat on the Atlantic Ocean.
Guest condos are just steps away from a refreshing swim in the heated pool or ocean. Bring your own or rent a locally delivered kayak or paddleboard that can be launched directly from our beach.
Our Continental Inn Condominium units include fully equipped kitchens, secure WIFI, cable T.V., tiki huts on the beach with gas grills. Coin washers and dryers for guest use are available on the right side of the building prior to entering the breezeway from the parking lot.
The City of Key Colony Beach is a tropical island paradise, located in the Heart of the Florida Keys centrally located between Key Largo and Key West. Drive 45 miles to Key West and spend the day shopping and dining, visit many famous pubs, historic sites and watch the sunset from Mallory Square.
Amenities in the City of Key Colony Beach include several restaurants, clothing and gift shops, marina with fishing charters, dive and snorkel trips, boat rentals, 9-hole golf course, children's playground, pickle or bocce ball and tennis. View spectacular Florida sunsets at Sunset Park just around the corner from the Continental Inn.

Relax on our private beach on the Atlantic Ocean or take a short drive to Sombrero Beach approximately 5 miles away or Bahia Honda Beach which is approximately 10 miles from Marathon (located just across the famous 7 Mile Bridge on the left Atlantic side) and named one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States.
Florida Keys Wildlife Adventures await you, just within 7 miles from our beautiful city! The Dolphin Research Center, Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters, Crane Point Hammock and The Turtle Hospital.

Exactly what I expected

Quiet getaway

Away from the hustle and bustle if the world. You have a gorgeous view of those amazing tropical waters. Out of all the keys, this one is my favorite! Clean, quiet, and dont have a funky smell as some of the keys.

Super quiet and stress free

We had a great time relaxing on the beach and swimming in the very clean pool. Everything was very well maintained, and staff was always super friendly. Room was really nice, clean and had everything you needed for a week stay. Not far at all from great resturants and things to do with the whole family.

Wonderful place

We liked it very much, the apartment was well equipped and nicely decorated, common facilities well maintained, we enjoyed the pool, grill and the picknick tables at the beach. Check-in and out very convenient.

Fabulous stay

This property is absolutely wonderful. The place has great amenities and the lovely private beach provided a nice location to locate some amazing queen conch. The room was clean and tidy, and had everything we could possibly want. The beds were a bit bouncy, so don’t tell your kids! 😃

Great spot to enjoy the keys

My family enjoyed our stayed at key colony! We could tell the unit was nicely kept and maintained. The beds were comfy the kitchen had everything we needed and the balcony was great to sit and play cards in the evening. This was our first trip to the keys and the location is great if you plan on exploring upper and lower keys because you’re pretty much in the middle. Would recommend staying here!

Beautiful and serene location

I highly recommend! Quick walk to sunset park to watch the sunset. Pool was warm and perfect. Access to private beach and beach chairs. Great location to explore all the keys. Quiet and peaceful.

The floors were filthy. Property staff not friendly or pleasant. Tiny soaps to shower with. The shower was uncomfortable and really narrow plus a slip and fall problem. Did have a grab bar. The area was nice

Beautiful Location but small

The property is nestled on the corner of the street. The place is sufficient for couple but definitely small for a family of 4 and would not recommend it for a family of 4. Kitchen is just functional but had most of the things we needed. You do have to take stairs to access the unit. The good things were definitely the location, small pool, proximity to Bahia Honda State Park, morning sunrise, and sunset in the park. Definitely recommend the place for a small family. Property managers were very helpful and responsive

We so enjoyed our stay. Fortunate for next renter, we left a bag cooler of wine, etc. Enjoy!!! We love living in Florida and close to the Florida Keys. Marathon is a nice location for visiting the other Keys.

Nice Quiet Getaway

Overall we had a pleasant experience. If your looking to just relax and not be bothered by a lot of people this is the place. I had the beach to myself during the day and my husband and I enjoyed the evening stars at night. If your looking to watch the sunset its just a minute walk away! Perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle!

Unit 12 - beautiful, beachy, and comfortable and clean. We had room to put all of our things away and literally didn’t have to buy much to accommodate our stay except laundry detergent, dish detergent, and food and drink. That’s it! They had beach towels, cookware, some Tupperware, plates- cups etc. They had a hair dryer and they even had a wine bottle opener and wine glasses, too! Plenty of stores if you need anything other than that!! We recommend The Marathon Lady for fishing and you don’t need anything except cash for tips and rod rentals and drinks. We recommend Bahia Honda Beach-Gulf side if you go to the Keys during the summer months on account of the seasonal “sea weed” which cannot be removed but some places will push aside. The Gulf side of that beach has the least and if very beautiful. And we recommend Tonio’s Restaurant. Best food in that immediate area. Shopping was best in Key West but if you are in to art, so many cute place to go into around Key Colony as well. We will go again and repeat everything again and again! Best vacation ever!!

Mother-Daughter Senior Trip

Another Great Visit to The Keys

We love Key Colony Beach, and the Continental Inn is a great choice for this area. We’ve stayed in multiple units, and all of them have been very clean. This visit was #2, and we loved the proximity to the pool and parking lot.

Quick family trip

Location was perfect, right by the ocean. Guests were friendly. Room and pool were clean. Everything we needed was right there. Steps away from Sunset park where we saw beautiful sunsets. Safe community. Managers were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
