You'll have the house to yourself. Private, yet only minutes walk to restaurants, outdoor pool, walking trails. Roomy home with lots of character, set in the maple trees, large property for town , ideal for a few couples or a young family who want to explore the beauty of the Annapolis Valley.
Two bedrooms upstairs, one on the main floor. Cozy fireplace and large kitchen are perfect after a day filled with adventures like Cape Split, Halls Harbour, numerous wineries, beaches, markets or the amazing walking/ biking trails ...all only a short drive away.

Lovely quiet neighborhood

Beautiful Home

This little house is much bigger than it first seems! Plenty of room and very comfortable. It is in a convenient location being in the centre of town yet up on a hill and in trees so you feel like you are in the woods, not centre of town. We would be happy to come back.

Perfect House in the Heart of Kentville

This house was perfect for my family of 5 as I showed my kids where their mom grew up. Clean, spacious, a fully stocked kitchen, even a fire pit to enjoy roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Plenty of privacy and completely surrounded by trees. There were times I forgot that I was right in town! Patricia was quick to respond and a wonderful host.

Amazing, as always.

We can't thank you enough Patty for your hospitality, quick responses and comfort your property brings us each time we come to Nova Scotia. If you are looking for privacy and a beautiful setting this is the location. Ample room with full use of the house this is our favourite VRBO when we come to visit our daughter. The house is extremely clean, beds are comfortable, and the side porch is the best! After a long day sitting by the wood fire place is the perfect way to end it. We will certainly be back.

Another amazing stay

This was our second time staying at this property and we are booked again in the fall. Patty is an excellent host and quick to reply if needed. She also leaves notes detailing information we may need to know. The layout is ideal and the two patios are private and cozy. There is a fireplace inside, with plenty of firewood, and a fire pit outside. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics you may need. The house is incredibly clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are large and there is a great soaker tub on the main floor and a large shower upstairs with plenty of towels. The location is central for all excursions within Annapolis Valley. Don't miss Halls Harbour and if you can Cape Split hiking shouldn't be missed. We highly recommend the Seafood Chowder and Duck Fat Fries at Le Caveau at Grand Pre Winery. Can't wait for our fall visit! Thanks Patty for the wonderful stay. Dave and Lana

Experience in Kentville

We had a great stay at this house, lots of space for two small families and a nice deck to sit outside. Only downside was no air conditioning as we visited during a heat wave and would have definitely slept better. Lots of necessary items available (e.g., towels, dishes, bedding, toiletries...) and great communication from host! Would recommend.

Amazing in every way!

A big thank you to Patty for ensuring our stay in her beautiful property was just right. The home was beautifully decorated and furnished. It offered complete privacy with large trees surrounding the property. The kitchen was well equipped the shower was great and while there was no air conditioning she provided two fans which worked well. The location is a block away from all amenities, restaurants, pubs and liquor store if needed. In addition within 20 min of any direction, amazing beaches, tourist towns and wineries. Truly a gem and Patty was extremely responsive to notes and checked in from time to time. This was our first trip to Nova Scotia and we will be back! Thanks Patty we could not have asked for more, we just loved it.

Lovely, private getaway

My husband and I stayed at this home for two nights in July. This is a beautiful property with incredibly practical indoor and outdoor spaces. The home was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. Patty was available via text/phone and was quick to respond when we contacted her. We loved the character of the home and it’s proximity to the main streets in Kentville - only a few minutes walk to pubs, restaurants, and coffee shops. This would be an ideal rental for families or a weekend away with friends!

Perfect for a group

This house has so much to offer a larger group . Lots of space for everyone both inside and out. It is nicer than the pictures . The covered porch , a lovely place for quiet reflection. The fire pit was an extra bonus with wood provided. It’s very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Stores are close by. Very easy to get to other towns from Kentville. I have stayed all over the world in this type of rental and it is way up there in value .I give this a very high recommendation. You will not be disappointed. My stay was for six adults in July 2022. ENJOY !

Lovely stay in Kentville

The house is very comfortable with a lovely deck and fire pit outdoor area. Very convenient location close to the main street but still very private and quiet. The kitchen has everything needed to cook. Patty was very welcoming and easy to communicate. Highly recommended!

Sweet spot!

My other half and I and two close friends stayed at this lovely cottage. We did a wine tour on Saturday and then came back to enjoy this beautiful little spot nestled in the trees. I immediately felt like I was home. I can’t say enough about this place and we will definitely be back. The location was perfect and close to all amenities. Potentially planning a fall trip!

Great house in a great location

Centrally located one street up from downtown kentville, this house is clean, homey and spacious. The host was so thoughtful, even prepared the fire pit outside with wood for us. The kitchen is very well equipment and included all the basics and more (salt, oil,, vinegar, coffee, …). would recommend to any friend visiting Nova Scotia.

Totally Accurate Post by the Host

Nestled in the maple trees within walking distance to the main drag in Kentville, NS, this place was everything and more than we expected. Spotless, and the Host thought of every detail! Having staying in vacation homes in Scotland, England, Ireland, Iceland and more - this place could compete with every one of them. The Host mentions that you need a device (computer, etc) to watch the TV .... this is important if you do. It didn't matter to us, but might to some. I can predict a fall trip to this location, the leaf's will be stellar in the fall.
