Water temperature was poor every morning. Bar menu needs upgrading. Nextdoor's The One menu needs to be looked at to compare what is being offered locally! Too many clients were going out to eat, where Rhapsody could offer good food if they were more imaginative. Lovely staff, wonderful location but just needs more drive & imagination.

Our stay at the Rhapsody Hotel in Kalkan was overall very nice and pleasant! The manager of the hotel was very friendly and always helpful for when my family and I had a request like an airport transfer (through e-mail), calling a taxi or booking a boat tour. The communication in english was very easy and you could always reach someone at the reception. The hotel itself with all the rooms, the breakfast area or the pool was always clean and neat. It took us some time to figure out how to change the settings on the AC because in the first night it was very cold in the hotel room, but it did work out. The area was very peaceful with a very nice view of the mountains and the ocean. It was also very quiet which was very pleasant and relaxing. We also did go for a relaxing massage at the hotel spa, which was also very pleasant.The breakfast was made fresh everything morning. It was not like those big buffets, it felt more like a cozy cafe with a nice selection of different breakfast items to eat. The old town and the public beach was in the near (10-15 minutes walk) as well as different restaurants or grocery stores. If you’re looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay in Kalkan, i would highly recommend this hotel! Asya :)

Pleasant stay
+ spacious room with balcony and sea views (got upgraded after I requested a new room since the first room I was given smelled heavily of dampness) + lovely pool area + quiet area, 10-15min walk to main street + 5min walk to supermarket + access to parking in front of hotel - breakfast was the same daily, with food reheated from the previous day - property in Kalkan, not Kas

A hidden gem in Kalkan. Just stayed in two rooms for one week and we loved this hotel. Quiet position back from the road with the most amazing views over the bay. Walked to the harbour in 10 minutes and a 2 minute walk from nearby shops and restaurants. The manager Ozge and her staff were so professional, helpful and so attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was spotless. Bedrooms very comfortable and modern with great views from the spacious balconies. The maids were the best I have ever seen. They were so thorough! The rooms were immaculately cleaned every day. Breakfast was varied and hot and cold choices every day. Delicious. The hotel had a good sized pools with ample loungers and lots of umbrellas and served tea and cake by the pool every day at 5! I rarely recommend hotels but have no hesitation here. Fantastic wee place.

Incredible!
Elixir is by far the most amazing hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The grounds and pool area are stunning, tranquil and relaxing, the rooms spotlessly clean and service second to none. The breakfast food was tasty and fresh with a good selection each day, plus eggs cooked to order was a nice touch. Cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced and the staff were so friendly. The hotel is about a 10 minute stroll from the Main Street of bars and restaurants, or a taxi is just a couple of £ and very easy to get. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and we were sad to leave! Thank you team elixir!

End of May 2023. Good holiday accommodation.
The location of the hotel was perfect, Not to close to noise but close enough to walk to the town. The daily cleaning of hotel and rooms was excellent, very friendly staff and helpful . Spa was good and not too expensive. Hotel manager greeted us personally with a warm welcome. Breakfast was ok but could be a a little better. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Just returned from Kalkan . The hotel is in an excellent position- only 15 mins walk from the centre and the lovely beach club of Yali Beach . Staff are very friendly and the hotel is spotless. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size . Altogether a great hotel at a great price 👍🇹🇷😃

We had a super stay at the Rhapsody. We had a premium room with sea view (room no. 1112) at a very reasonable price via Expedia. The room was spacious, lots of storage , good aircon, a balcony overlooking the pool area, with a good sea view as well. The bathroom was spacious with a walk-in shower. The room was spotless and you could elect to have the room cleaned everyday. The TV channels were limited but that's the norm in most places abroad. The only negative for me was the rather firm bed, I need a little more softness for my old bones (a topper would do the trick). The breakfast was very good, some hot offerings, some typical Turkish pastries and lots of fruit, yogurt and honey. Perfect for us but maybe not if you are looking for a full English! Lovely lady on reception who spoke very good English. All in all a great stay.

The hotel is run by a young new team and they are trying very hard to get things perfect. All the staff are very helpful and polite and will help you wherever they can. They are working on improving the breakfast but we enjoyed what was on offer, it’s a Turkish breakfast after all. Very clean in all aspects. The spa is also fantastic, so much so we went twice!!

Kral dairesinin odaları bölünmüş odanın verilmiş olması (bunun bir de jest gibi belirtilmesi) , aradaki kapıdan yan odadaki insanları duyuluyor (tersi yönde onların da bizi duyması) hoş değildi. 2 gün temizlikçi çağırdık gelmedi, Dolap arızalı ve bomboş (su dahi yoktu), Kahvaltı 8.30-10.30 ve hayatımda gördüğüm en kötü kahvaltı, Personel çoğu öğrenci, Havlular ve günlük değişen hijyenik temizlik ürünleri değişmiyor. Sonuç olarak hiç memnun etmedi.

8 saatlik araba yolculuğu sonrası bavulları indirip resepsiyonda, Thomas Cook battı ya, siz tek odasınız, sizi başka otele alacağız sözlerine; aylar önceden yaptığımız rezervasyon değişikliğini bavullarla resepsiyona gelince mi haber veriyorsunuz tepkimize, gelip gelmeyeceğinizi bile bilmiyorduk diye şık edici yanıt aldık.Birkaç telefon sonrası bizi Samira Exclusive oteline aktaracaklarını söylediler. Bire bir haklarımız geçerli mi sorumuza daha iyi bir otele aktarıldığımız söylendi. Otele geçtik, kayıt olup bavulları odaya çıkarıp açtık. Sonra Resepsiyondan arandık ve biz paramızı Rapsodiden alamıyoruz sizin oda ücretini ödemeniz gerekiyor dendi. Rapsodiyi arayıp ne olmakta dedik, sanki madur biz değilmişiz gibi, naapalım size otelimi açalım gibi sinir zıplatıcı yanıtlara, sakin kalmaya çalışarak, çözüm bulması gerekenin kendileri olduğunu söyledik. Geri aramasını beklerken Samira resepsiyondan Samira Resort diye başka bir otele aktarılacağımız söylendi.Tekrar toplanıp, birsüre daha bekletilip yine aktarıldık. Sonuçta üçüncü sefer bavul indirip, denk bir otele yerleştik gibi görünse de günler önce hotels.comdan seçip ödeme yaptığımız otel yerine emrivaki ile kapı kapı dolaşıp, sanki bizim hatamızmış gibi bir özür bile dilenmemesini bu sektördeki bir işletmeye hiç yakıştıramadık ve de etik bulmadık.

Modern hotel. Room well laid out and everything works. Room fairly clean but room for improvement in bathroom. Breakfast room badly organised and serviced, shortages on cutlery, cups, forks and silly stuff which really should be done better. Good pool but only one umbrella to four sun beds. Some ripped and in poor condition. Umbrella bases stacked in a corner so it looks like umbrellas have broken and not replaced. Sun bed covers threadbare or holed. Not good enough. Staff very pleasant but badly lead and managed.

Position in relation to town was good. The pool very good and clean. Did not like that sun disappeared behind building by about 4.30 and there were no facilities to use a good roof top terrace- no beds or umbrellas. Not enough umbrellas around pool. Breakfast could be improved, quality not brilliant, more cafe than restaurant, cleared away before time set. Cleaners v good. Needs some TLC. When taking breaks staff should not use guest areas to smoke and drink, very off putting. As this is not an expensive probably should accept, as you only get what you pay for. Shame really as it could be a great hotel, has lot of potential with little more direction from management. Still having said all this still love Kalkan. As school reports say - Could do better !!!!

It was comfortable and clean The breakfast was very basic ok if you like cheese otherwise not we skipped breakfast as local cafes had better offers with more choice of fruits, cereals and eggs Due to being over the reception area we were disturbed with people traffic and the staff setting up at 7 am Stunning views and lovely pool area

Our room smelled mold, we changed and the new one had very loud air conditioner; so much so that there were scraps of paper people put to the AC grill to stop it. Bad internet connection. Room and bathroom were clean. When we requested a room change after the smell, they didn't have any left and we spent the night on the couch of the other room we booked and told that we want to ask for a refund for the room we couldn't stay in. On the checkout, the manager said: "Not staying in that room is your choice. Many people stayed in that room before without complaints. And you are telling us about this on the last day." Well, it is not a choice but an obligation not to stay in a room with a strong smell of mold for comfort and health reasons. Contrary to what the manager claims, we did not address this issue during checkout but we did it during when the staff was turning the couch in the other room into bed for us, the first night of our stay and the staff confirmed that we did. Later, about the smell of mold he claimed that they did not receive any complaints before, the manager said; there have been other complaints as such and with the AC on, it goes away. Anyway, he told us that they will get back to us but it's been about two weeks and we didn't hear from them. The reception staff was very nice though and the other room didn't have a problem. I hope they become better and I am sorry that we had a bad experience.

güzel otel kötü kahvaltı ve personel
otel gerçekten fiziki olarak iyi. ayrıca çok da sessizdi. fakat kahvaltısı bir o kadar berbattı ve çalışanlar çok soğuk ayrıca işlerini de nasıl yapmaları gerektiğini bilmiyorlar.

Alles War super. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf die Sauberkeit legt das Hotel sehr viel wert.
