Welcome to "The Seashore Hideaway", a beautiful 2nd floor direct oceanfront condo with stunning and expansive close-up views of the ocean. We are located at Wailua Bay View, in unit #208. You will hear the mesmerizing sounds of the ocean from the minute you open the front door. Walk inside, and the living room sliding glass doors ahead will open up to your private outdoor lanai (balcony), where you will see and hear the vast ocean right in front of you.

This small 45-unit condo complex provides peace and serenity and a great place to rest and relax. We are located centrally on the island, in the town of Kapaa, on the gorgeous and lush Hawaiian island of Kauai! This is a well-cared for and beautifully furnished condo, decorated in the teal colors of the ocean and with gorgeous Hawaiian and beach decor, including beautiful artwork from a local photographer. The owners have spared no expense in decorating this condo.

Our condo includes a well-stocked kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, comfortable California king sized bed, air conditioned bedroom, free WiFi, 55" television with soundbar in living room, 43" television in bedroom, sound proof double-pane windows in bedroom for quiet and privacy.

We provide binoculars for viewing turtles and whales, beach chairs, beach umbrella, picnic/beach cooler, and often guests leave behind snorkel gear for other guests to use if they wish.

Condo complex has barbecue grills, a sparkling swimming pool, and the owners provide free guest treats (such as chocolates, Kauai coffee, and chips). There are no resort fees or parking fees. Our spectacular and calming little piece of paradise will not disappoint!

Enjoy the vacation of your dreams with breathtaking and unobstructed views of the ocean! Rest and relaxation awaits you! Sit on the spacious lanai and listen to the ocean waves, enjoy the gorgeous sunrise, take a stroll on the sandy beach below you, or lounge by the cozy pool.

Centrally located on Kauai's Coconut Coast, walking distance to local restaurants and many shops, and close to kayaking on the Wailua River, hiking at the Sleeping Giant trails, and swimming, snorkeling, and picnicking at Lydgate Beach Park. Easy drive to beautiful Poipu Beach where you can also snorkel and often find giant sea turtles resting and sunning themselves. There, you can also find the endangered Hawaiian monk seal occasionally resting on the beach as well.

Our central location on the coast means shorter day trips to the north or south sides of the island, which guests love. While in Kauai, you can enjoy snorkeling, swimming, fishing, sailing, hiking, scuba diving, helicopter tours, and see the famous and spectacular Napali Coast.

Our condo is conveniently located only 10-15 minutes from Lihue Airport. Costco, Walmart, Target, and Safeway grocery stores are all 5-15 minutes away. The entire property is non-smoking. Regina and Scott were very easy to work with. They also gave us helpful recommendations. We especially liked the location of their condo. Easy access to the north or south shore. We enjoyed walking to the Coconut Marketplace for dinner or shopping. The condo was clean and well stocked with an awesome ocean view.

To experience the island, we would prefer staying a few days in the north (Hanalei or Princeville) and a few in the south (Poipu) which was our favorite.

Stunning views of the ocean. Sunrises from the lanai. The condo is well appointed and very clean. The lanai is spectacular. Pool is nice though it’s in a parking lot so not scenic , but it was well maintained and nice to have. The one opportunity is to get a more powerful air conditioner for the bedroom as is it tough to cool it down. Oh and the resident roosters and chickens provide great entertainment.

Beautiful views. We saw a turtle and dolphins off the deck. Check in was very easy. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were very clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. Good Wi-Fi. We use to stay in Poipu but this area has great access to both sides of the island so we spent less time in the car and more time on the beaches. We would definitely recommend staying here and will come back!

The perfect beach cottage. Perfect location on the island for easy access to everything you want to do. We enjoyed the views from the lani and it had everything you needed to make your stay fun. The owners are very welcoming and Marvis is there for anything you need. A must stay place in paradise! We will be back again.

Getaway

The owners ( Regina & Scott) always update and maintain their places. It is right next to the ocean and the waves breaking is a constant sound that we love. They also supplied beach chairs, beach towels and snorkeling gear. The grounds are also very well kept up. We have also stayed at place on the big island in Kona that the owners also own which was also spectacular.

Perfect Location

We had a fantastic time in Kauai. We are explorers, and Scott and Regina’s condo was in the perfect location to allow us to get all around the island. The space was clean and comfortable, and we loved being right on the water. Mahalo for sharing your home with us.

great balcony view

Nice quiet small complex. The grounds were well kept up. The only loud sounds were the occasional resident rooster calls. We didn't go to the pool but it appeared clean. The condo was cutely decorated and the air conditioner in the bedroom worked great. Didn't need an air conditioner for the rest of the space due to a nice breeze always coming from the balcony. All appliances that we used were in good condition (did not use washer/dryer). The only negatives were the dirty vent above the bathroom sink. We found dirt crumbs in the sink everyday from stuff falling from the vent. Could be why the sink is slow to drain. Marvin made a few neighborly stop ins to see how we were getting along. All in all we would stay here again. You can get fresh Malasadas from across the street!

Incredible Oceanside Condo

We had an amazing time at Wailua Bay View. The condo had everything we needed. The location is fantastic. Great pool area and grounds. The ocean view is what makes it incredible, though. It makes you not want to leave the condo.

Second Time Back

We enjoyed Kauai so much that we wanted to come back and experience a few things we missed last time we were there. We searched and searched condos, but we couldn't stop talking about this one and had to book again. As silly as it seems, the chairs and table on the lanai is what sold us. You can sit above eye level of the railing and enjoy the ocean view. We ate breakfast every morning on the lanai and spent every evening on the lanai. We saw turtles, whales, windsurfing, and regular surfing during our time here. Condo has an amazing breeze if you open the front door shades and back door slider. 45-60 minutes in any direction to check out everything the island has to offer. Quiet and small condo with ample parking and a quiet beach. A quick walk to Coconut Marketplace for souvenirs and food (try the pork fried rice at the thai/chinese restaurant).Condo provides everything you could think of and we appreciate being able to do laundry so its one less thing to do when we returned home. Hosts are pleasant to talk with and communication has always been fabulous. I would absolutely recommend this location, although maybe not to my close friends and family as I like to keep this place as a hidden gem for myself. ;)Thank you both for sharing your home with us! Hope to come back again one day.

Super Clean in Ideal Location

This condo is kept extremely clean! The location is ideal with the ability to go to the north or south shore areas easily plus shop and eat a few minutes away in Kapa’a. My favorite spot, however, is sitting right on the balcony while enjoying the breeze and hearing the waves. Don’t hesitate to book here.

Great location

We really enjoyed the stay and location. Very close to everything. Perfect for 2 people. The place is stocked with everything you need. Very clean, my only complaint would just be to replace the pillow and pillow covers. They smelled and pillows were very flat. Everything else was great.

Great Condo

This is a lovely condo in an excellent location - close to everything you might want to do on the island. The unit was very clean, safe, and as advertised in every way. The kitchen is well appointed with lots of counter space. I didn't use the small pool or BBQ, but they looked great. Only FYI is that Wailua beach (visible from the lanai) is more of a surfer beach than a swimming beach.

Gorgeous bay view!

I was only able to stay a short time at this property but I wish I could have stayed longer. The wonderful bay view from the balcony invites getting a take-out dinner and some wine and just sipping away out there. It's also very close to Coconut Marketplace if you want to do some shopping.
