Great location

We enjoyed the low key vibe at this resort. Fellow guests were friendly and would share their experiences and recommendations on the island. The facilities were clean and well maintained. We loved being close to the beach to watch the sunrise in the morning and watching for whales in the evening.Our host was great and very helpful with recommendations of things to do on the island and restaurants to try.If we get the opportunity again, we will seek out this resort again.

Excellent property centrally located

The property was as advertised. There were many different games and entertainment available on resort. The beach at the resort was also very good. The resort is centrally located in Kauai so everything was pretty close. It would have been nice to have a few more things for cooking and storing food like Saran Wrap and tin foil. Overall the property was excellent.

Felt like home away from home

Everything was so smooth from reservations all the way thru check-out. Great location for restaurants & shopping. Spent most evening in the hot tub & pool. Very nice location for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Unit was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the beach chairs. Close proximity to the hot tub and pool. Short walk to the beach. Upstairs unit sounded like a herd of elephants walking around at times but for the most part quiet. Must be thin floors. Idk. Would stay here again though for sure.

Condo in Kaapa, Kauai

Clean, ground level condo (1 bedroom & bath) located on east side so easy to get around the island. Condo complex amenities were nice - pool, hot tub, grill (right outside of patio door, mini putt. All amenities are well kept & clean. Condo was perfect for 2 adults & furnished with everything we needed. Concierge service was helpful.

A Gem

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were quite spacious and well kept. Amenities were plentiful although we didn't get to the tennis courts, maybe next time. So convenient, restaurants and shopping were in walking distance. When you get your room just unplug the alarm clock and let the rooster's wake you in the morning. It was great letting nature wake you up! Thanks for a great stay!

Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our time at this property. We found it to be clean and enjoyed the lanai and having air conditioning. I brought ear plugs after reading the other reviews about noise, but there was no movement upstairs while I was trying to sleep. We would stay here again!

Fantastic pad! Some minor notes + considerations!

This spot suited us well! We really enjoyed our time on the island. We do have some hopefully helpful details to share for future visitors. Location is great– lots of walkable spots, good food (and variety), and great coffee (Java Kai). Diamonds pizza, surprisingly tasty food trucks, lots of restaurants, etc. Safeway is short drive. Big save is totally walkable. It had a nice beach for wave-watching, but not really for swimming/snorkeling that butts up against the property. The backdoor of this unit looks out to the pool. Close for a quick dip and ground floor was a bonus. I appreciated not having stairs after a long day of adventuring on the island. It lacks a certain homey charm. It is clearly a time-share type property. Feels more like a hotel room and not someone's cherished property. It is comfortable though. The portable air-conditioning unit brought into the bedroom is very LOUD... Being the ground floor unit the upstairs movements are very audible. In our particular stay this meant hearing the toilet flush or shower run as early as 4:30 am– it was loud– also chairs moving, doors closing, etc. You will also hear roosters crowing around 5 am– however if you're familiar with the islands, you'll know this is an unavoidable fact. We like to cook! The kitchen was fairly barebones. It would have been really nice to have some zip lock bags or containers for toting our day snacks and lunches. This unit did not offer anything like that.

Nice location

Pros: unit was very clean, the location was excellent, the kitchen worked well Cons: very minimal comfort items like toilet paper, hand towels, kitchen towels, soap. The sofa bed is not suitable for sleeping in comfortably - the mattress is very thin and part of the bed sinks down lower than the rest.

Pleasant Kapa’a Stay!

We have been coming to the islands over the holidays for the last 11 years. We change up lodging each visit to try something new. This property was really lovely and located right on the ocean and Kapaa path with a pluthera of games to play on site. Also Kapaa has a ton of restaurants and some shopping nearby so that’s convenient too. You get towels at the pool and can exchange wet ones for new ones. We like that they allow floaties and fun in the pool. (Some other properties like the WR up the road can be strict with this.) There are no chairs or boogie boards in the unit but you can rent them on site for like $12 per day. The unit was exactly as advertised. Absolutely loved that it was on the ground floor and very close to the pool. There is also a property grill right outside this unit (as well as more by the pool area.) My kids slept on the pull-out and my recommendation would be to upgrade that soon as it is on its last leg (hard to pull out and doesn’t lay flat so my daughter had to turn her body the other direction). The bed in our room was super comfortable and we slept great. Although I personally would prefer another blanket as the one provided was a thin fleece type one. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this property for your stay in Kapaa!

Almost exceptional

The resort is very well kept - beautiful and tidy landscaping, clean, and no bugs. Enjoyed the various games and activities located at the center of the property. I appreciated the gas grills for outdoor cooking. The unit was also very good. It had a comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of soap, towels, toilet tissue, paper towels, good assortment of kitchen counter appliances and utensils, ice trays, cable, dvd player, and cold a/c. The ONLY complaint is that the unit wasn't cleaned well in the bathroom and certain parts of the kitchen. Also, a kitchen cutting board would've been nice. I cleaned the things that bothered me and that was that. I would stay here again.
