Friendly staff. . Very accomodating in allowing me to use toaster for prop of my gluten free breads. The location made a great jumping off point for our exploration of the area. The room was a bit small. Stayed in the room with my sister. Made it a bit crowded getting ready in the a.m.

Staff was wonderful. Room was nice, just small. I'll get a different room next time and there will be next time. Told them it was my Birthday, and when we got back after being gone for awhile, there were 4 cupcakes and a card. So nice. Stayed 2 nights. Breakfast both days very good.

The one thing I was terribly sad about was missing the breakfast. It appeared that it was going to be quite the delectable experience. The breakfast begins at nine and I had to get on the road beforehand. I recommend that if you stay, plan on attending the breakfast event.

Great Stay For Our Football Weekend!
We stayed for a football weekend in KC. Everything was great! The staff were awesome and the accommodations were quaint and cozy. Would most definitely recommend!

Quaint little property full of charm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delightful with several guests and interesting visits. Numerous well decorated rooms from which to choose. Lots to do and see nearby. We would go back.

Loved this place! I stayed for 1 night before running the KC marathon, it was only a 20 minute drive to downtown and they even packed a to-go breakfast for me since I had to leave so early. Truly a hidden gem!

We were greeted as soon as we entered the house. Robin was so nice and accommodating. Our room was nice. We were in Ireland. Breakfast was good. The house is beautiful. Ample parking. Quiet neighborhood. We'd definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

I stayed in Room #2, the Scotland inspired room, which was very spacious and very comfortable. Everything was top shelf. Friendly and accommodating staff. Next time I come to independence, I will definitely look to stay at the Woodstock Bed-and-Breakfast again.

The ladies at the Woodstock Inn were fabulous! They not only welcomed us when we arrived, but greeted us as we left. The B&B is beautiful and you can tell from the moment you walk in that great care has been taken with attention to every detail. After driving 11 hours from Texas it was a welcoming spot to lay our head for a few days.

Very friendly staff at check-in. The innkeeper was nice and showed us the room and let us know the standard operating procedures of the B&B. I highly recommend this location for exploring Independence or attending an event at the sports stadiums. The room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed one night and our stay was perfect! It was so convenient to get to Arrowhead for the Billy Joel/Stevie Nicks concert. The inn is huge and beautiful. I believe we counted 12 bedrooms? Not sure. Our room was small but the king size bed was super comfortable and the a/c was cool. Mini- fridge in the room too! The garden area was lovely. We sat outside after the concert (at 2:00am) and in the morning. All the rooms were full but it was quiet, never heard a peep or noise from any other rooms. We did not partake in breakfast (we slept in) but from what I saw on my way to the garden it looked yummy! I will definitely stay again next time I go to Arrowhead - it was only @ a 10 minute drive, so easy! Neighborhood was quiet also. Perfect perfect!!

A very hospitable bed and breakfast

Debbie greeted us at the front door and showed us to the room and was very friendly. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean the only thing we didn’t care for was that the bathroom was pretty small. The complimentary breakfast was good. Would definitely go there again.

Nice backyard to relax in. Room decors all varied and done well. Great breakfast. Host was way too chatty. Neighborhood was not the best.

The property was lovely and the breakfast was delicious! The rooms are small though and the a/c blows directly on you. The shower is even smaller. My husband is 6'4 and could barely fit and turn around. Still, they were welcoming and we had a lovely one night visit. We would stay again if we were in the area.

Great atmosphere and close to everything.
The place is charming and the staff were very friendly and helpful in terms of recommending things to see. It was fun that the rooms all had different geographical themes. Breakfast was tasty and was an adequate amount of food. It's located close to the downtown area and Country Club area which has a Mediterranean theme and is worth walking around. The art museum with its famous sculptures outside is also nearby. The Inn is in a nice neighborhood too, with lots of historic homes.

They were so helpful to my daughter and I in navigating the Taylor Swift ERAS tour. They allowed us to check in early and gave us valuable advice to get there (and out). Food was amazing! You were the best.

The property was clean and had good parking. The room was very nice. The property manager was very nice. The food was very good for breakfast. The only thing I would mention is the east side of Kansas City is not very nice to drive around due to gangs and people who were not comfortable to travel around. The property itself felt safe.

Beautiful rooms--and So comfortable to be able to use the sitting room for relaxing and coffee and conversation. Almost like being at home, but better! Also very close and convenient to the places that we wanted to go. We would stay again gladly.

Never received a confirmation from Travelocity nor the property owner. Property manager thought the booking went through Expedia and was surprised herself that Travelocity was involved. We never went to the property after not getting a confirmation but we’re charged $378 regardless. Don’t use these services or property

Dear Marcus,I'm sorry that Travelocity did not send you a confirmation. Travelocity is managed by Expedia, and Expedia should have sent you a confirmation. They are the entity that holds your funds as well until you stay with us. That is why my manager asked you to contact Travelocity/Expedia directly. Again, I'm sorry that you had a difficult experience. If we could have done something to make it better, we certainly would have.
