The property was nice and in a convenient location if you have a rental car. The house has some upgrades but needs some repairs. Price was worth it.

Had to call host when we arrived because we had not received access instructions. They were not expecting us even though reservations were made months before due to their access to their account. One bathroom not usable due to broken faucet. Neighborhood was not safe. Will not be staying there again.

Property was reserved weeks in advance, but was double booked when we arrived. No communication received from property owner on day of booking, even though they had answered questions two days earlier. Owner did not answer my messages or direct calls from VRBO support. Unable to find alternative housing for the night due to the late cancellation. VRBO did issue a full refund, which was the only positive part of the experience.

The check in was fine .But when host how safe of an area the location was. She did not respond. And that could have been a sign the first night we were there we heard gun shots just a few doors down . My husband and son on law were outside on the front porch smoking three cop cars pulled up stopped on the road way asked them if they heard gunshots my husband pointed them into the direction thet came from needless to say it was too close for comfort for us to keep our daughter and her 3 young kids there so we left the next day . And people were very hard to get ahold of and when I did I got the run around .

Communication with the host was terrible. Had to call twice for check-in information because it was never sent over. The air conditioning was not working. It went from 81 to 83 downstairs in the 2 hours we were there so it had to be at least 90 upstairs where my girls were supposed to sleep. I reached out to the host multiple times because my daughter was getting sick from being in the house when it was so hot. She accused me of being a liar and told me to “quit with the sob story”. I travel a lot, especially for my kids sports activities, concerts, etc. I’ve never cancelled trips before especially not the day of but I requested she refund me because there was no way we could sleep there and she told me she I was not going to be refunded. THANKFULLY, support was so much more kind to me than she was. I’m not one to complain but the way she spoke to me was unacceptable. I’d never ever suggest anyone book with her.
