Nice and clean room and good food
Good breakfast with wide selection of both Indian and international items. Located within two minutes waking distance from the new and convenient Kochi Metro, which will take you quickly to MG Road and Lulu mall.

Lå litt "utenfor".
De fleste som jobbet på hotellet var helt topp, noen få dro ned snittet. Frokosten var bra, rommet var bra, ellers helt ok fasiliteter som treningsrom og spa-avdeling. Spa-avdelingen var desverre lite service-instilt. Vi synes hotellet var dyrt i forholdt til hva du fikk. De fleste ansatte var hyggelige og veldig behjelpelige.

I had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Breakfast buffet was good and at par with other similar category hotels. I also used a la carte dining at the restaurant. It was reasonably good. Restaurant waiter’s service could better.

A not so 3 star property!
At the time of check-in, I was told that I am being upgraded to the business category room with which I was kind of happy and thanked the staff as I was really tired. However, when I entered the room, there was water on the floor (guess leaked from the overhead AC unit). After a while I realized that there was a smell in the room and hence I called up teh reception to ask if they had given me a smoking room. To this, I was told yes its a smoking room and I can smoke in there. I told the person that I dont smoke and hence I would like to change the room because of the smell to which he replied that they can spray a freshner in the room. On telling that I need to change the room, I was told that there are only twin bed rooms! I had to go for it because of the smoking smell in the room; even though at the time of booking, I had clearly opted for non-smoking and king bed room. Then in the restaurant, when I asked for the menu, I was handed over a torn menu card! I mean, you represent a world known brand so atleast keep up to the standards!

While I was upgraded upon check in and the room was beautiful with a great view, and the breakfast was nice, I had a horrible experience upon checkout at this hotel. To make a long story short, the hotel charged me almost $200 USD for two international phone calls I made despite the fact that I called the front desk before making the first call to ask if the phone was free to use, and they said “yes”. The fact that the hotel manager would not refund me for this charge and honour their word is extremely disappointing. I had faith that Haritha would resolve the issue but she would not go around the policy and make an exception. I will not be staying at this hotel again. I believe you should always trust the customer, but in this case they sided with their staff who denied I had ever called to ask. Disappointing and I expect better.

However, we would like to highlight that any personal calls made by the guest from the room by using the 0 dialing facility, will always attract an additional cost. In case of an International call, the same charges will be on a higher side. So in your case have charge you a very genuine rate which is not prepared manually. As soon as your call got connected to the system automatically started generating the charges. We have just asked you to pay for the same service which you used. Room had several issues. The electrical socket in the bathroom was not working. The Hair dryer was broken. The service in the restaurant was terrible. The Travel desk was not very forthcoming on their rates.

Friendly staff but service was not great as compared to our stay at the Radisson in Bangalore. The air conditioning was noisy in the room and the staff did not recognise there were two people staying in the room. The breakfast was good and staff in the dining area were friendly and helpful.

No comments on food. Breakfast, dinner, everything was great, and the room as it is was also good, but sadly, the staff and their attitude didn’t give us enough time to enjoy the facilities as we had to spend more time with the reception and travel desk rather than our own personal tasks that we went there for. We’re never going back to this hotel whatsoever!

Poor Housekeeping. Dust everywhere in the room
The only good thing about this hotel is breakfast. The bathroom stinks to the point where we cannot even leave the doors open. The bathtub in our bathroom had a slope on the sides, while taking a bath, the water would get onto the floor and make a puddle. The dust in the room, under the chair, on the table lamps was horrible. It looks like they haven't cleaned or vacuumed the room in months! House keeping needs a major supervisor check.. Don't waste your money on this one.

Dissappointing
One would expect a chain hotel to meet certain standards. This was not the case at the Radisson Blu Kochin: - the service at 2 of the restaurants was very slow and inefficient: it took them 20 mins to let us know that the wine we had ordered was not available and 20 more to actually bring the drinks, that came when we were almost done with the food. We also waited 25 mins for a burger to find out that the fries were cold. - we had to ask 2 times to get toiletries in our bathroom

It appears that smoking is not prohibited. The hall and elevators smell of cigarette. I had to request a room change because I was given a smoking room. I made a tollfree call. I was charged about $10 for it

Extremely disappointing
Very disappointing. There were used towels hanging on the bathroom door, so the room was not properly cleaned and prepared before allocating. The room had a stink as well. Then they downgraded me to a room with two single beds which was not acceptable and then to a box room without windows which I accepted as I was too tired at the end of a long day to argue with them.
