«Beautiful hotel in a central location. Short walk to several of the old town attractions. Many nice cafes and eateries near by. The hotel is an old building that has been beautifully renovated and is now a fusion between old and new. Well appointed rooms, beautiful lap pool, and a generous snack bar that is free for patrons. «Kjempefint hotell, noen minutter utenfor hovedsentrum. Veldig komfortable rom, executive premier, og ikke minst en veldig god og stor seng. Frokosten var også veldig bra. Veldig serviceminded personale. Hadde valgt det samme hotellet igjen.»

«A bit of a hiccup when checking in, as the hotel wanted to charge more than what my booking said, but that was resolved. Also disapointed that they said the deposit wold be held for two weeks. The hotel overall was nice, great beds, good location, decent sized rooms. We would especially like to thank Vicky in the lobby bar, for great service! The free wifi in the hotelroom was poor, hopefully that will be looked into. It was unstable and relatively slow.»

«Vi var 3 personer som ble satt på 2 mannsrom, vi sa ifra til betjeningen og etter få minutter hadde de satt inn en ekstra seng. Vell å merke var dette en ordentlig seng ikke en hard og dårlig feltseng. Rommet var utrolig fint! Helt strøkent og det var fellesarealene også. Internettet er det raskeste nettet jeg har vært pålogget på i Asia noen gang! Et vell deg fineste hotellet jeg har vært på også, selvom jeg har vært på flere 5* hoteller som ikke var like bra.»

«We loved our stay at Areca, we had a room on the ground floor and it was sheer luxury, spacious, beautiful tiles on the floor, high ceiling, lovely period furniture, fans and air conditioner and a shower that was truly magnificent. We loved the afternoon teas and all the delights that were served. Your staff are extremely polite and courteous. We stayed for a week and would be happy to return. Thank you Areca. »

«No sun on the top roof (by the pool) because of solar cells blocking the sun, for breakfast there was no juice remaining for my whole stay there, only water and coffee. The room was too modern for my liking. Sometimes there was no available towels by the pool, and no free sunbeds even though the area up there is large. Should have been more sunbeds.»
