The rooms were great in regards to space, but quite dated. For the first three nights we were disappointed and didn’t enjoy being in villa because it had a musty, wet carpet smell throughout. This smell hit us as soon as we entered on arrival, called the desk immediately and was told someone would come and spray. It was a long day for us so fell asleep due to being tired. Was given an air freshener can in second day, smell did not improve. By day three we just couldn’t take it anymore because it was affecting my sleep. On our third day we called again about this issue. We had been very gracious up to this point and I was disappointed that the desk agent told us that we were the only ones that were complaining of this issue, as if to insinuate that we making this up. We liked the villa and wanted to stay and tried because we thought something could have been done the next day since we had planned to be away all day. All we got was an air refresher half empty can. We were changed on the 3rd day of our 5 day stay, late afternoon. We were told someone would call with room change early afternoon. Heard nothing, we had to go back to desk in late afternoon to get change. Second bungalow smelled better, and not as dated. The property itself is beautiful and clean, so was the pool area. The response to our complaints were not handled properly and left a bad taste in our months. Not sure we would return due to this reason.
