Great view of Molokai and Lanai. Saw manu sea turtles off of our balcony. Snorkeling just off the small beach allowed us to see trigger fish, spotted eels, an octopus, and several types of coral. Well appointed condo. The end unit with a small balcony on the bedroom allowed the ocean breeze to keep the place cool. Would recommend.

Views are spectacular

We enjoyed our stay. The unit it a bit outdated but served our purposes. The views were fantastic and we slept like babies listening to the crashing waves.

The amount of gnats that came in one night with the screens closed was absolutely ridiculous Siri I text the manager and they made it sound like yes it’s kind of normal right now because of the amount of rain that we have had, it would’ve been nice to know that before we got there and we stayed in this unit before and loved it but at this point it’s worn down and needs the carpet replaced the tub needs to be replaced just everything needs to be updated

Great Area

You can't go wrong with Valley Isle. 3rd time I have stayed there. Very Relaxing. Maybe just get rid of the gas leaf blowers and use a broom.

Let the Ocean Waves Put You to Sleep

I learned the most incredible way to fall asleep each night - by the sound of ocean waves right outside your door! The views in the photos are for real - the great big beautiful blue ocean is in front of you when you eat out on the lanai and when you go to bed and wake up. You might even catch a breaching whale or a spout - I did! We absolutely recommend Valley Isle Resort and would love to stay there again. It’s also right down the road from some of the best snorkeling on the island!

Hiden Guests

Nice at first sight. The tub in the bathroom appears to be dirty. Fingerprints on the mirrors. And the worst, cockroaches in the dishwasher and stove.

April 2024

The pictures are a true resemblance of the view. Good appliances and the kitchen met all out needs. Very prompt to answer our questions. Nice that they supplied beach chairs. Nearby rental location (across the street) for any other beach needs (Umbrellas etc) was very convenient. Enjoyed our dinner each night on the patio watching the sun set between Lanai and Moloka'i. View from the bedroom will be hard to beat. Good linens. We didn't use the pool, but the BBQ's were clean and modern. We would go back.

We loved staying at this condo! The views of the ocean are outstanding. We really enjoyed waking up each morning and seeing the ocean from our bed. Added bonus, we saw lots of whales right from the lanai! during our early March stay There's a nice beach within a five minute walk, plus several other amazing beaches are within a 10-20 minute drive. The location is really great. It's close enough to Ka'annapali to have a nice dinner out, but not nearly as crowded as staying there. There are nice restaurants right in Kahana, too, including Miso Phat sushi right across the street, Amigos Mexican, Taverna, and the Plantation House. This is not the fanciest place we've stayed, but it had everything we needed in a compact, comfortable design in a fabulous location. The kitchen could have more staples, but it wasn't a big deal. We didn't see any bugs, as some others have mentioned. The staff are very friendly and communication with the property mgr was very good. We couldn't get the EV charger in the parking lot to work, so be wary of that before adding money to the app that prob won't bre refunded. We highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely be returning ourselves! Mahalo!

Good enough. Great views. Great beach & grass/shade close-by.

Great basic location, though the property itself seems to be in some strange wind tunnel. It was unbearably windy outside our door, in the hallways and especially at the pool the entirety of our trip. There is a pleasant beach nearby and a wonderful view. If it wasn’t Maui, I would probably give it one-two stars for one-ply toilet paper, bugs, living and dead plaguing our kitchen usage all week. Communication was poor in the VRBO app… once I switched to using the phone # I received upon arrival, I got superior response-time and at least “understanding “ for our issues. The price seemed pretty darn good for the view. Saw dozens of whales & turtles all week. Good snorkeling if you’re just looking to do that for fun… plentiful parking and easy to walk on Lower H road… (toward Lahaina-direction).

Perfect!

This unit is well appointed. The Kitchen has plenty of pans and glasses, blender, coffee maker etc. A nice touch was two new Tommy beach chairs! Bed was comfortable. I don’t even remember if there is AC, because the design allows the trades to blow through. The unit is at the end of the building so very quiet. Sliding glass doors in both the living room and bedroom are a plus with ceiling fans even if you close the door to the hall… it is still very pleasant. I was able to negotiate a late check out as my flight was not till 830PM. W/D in the unit was also great as I was volunteering while there and needed to wash a couple of times. If there is a negative: pool isn’t like most “resort” pools but is not busy. As mentioned in other reviews, the non-slip strips in the tub could be replaced. They are difficult to clean and keep fresh and are showing that. Again… this a fabulous rental at a good price!
