Stor verdi for familie på 4, to par eller til og med to enslige som vil ha sitt eget soverom. Vakkert interiør. Utsikt over havet i en tropisk hage fra Ka'anapali's North Course over gaten fra North Ka'anapali Beach. 2 soverom, 2 bad, begge soverom har komfortable king size-senger. Denne leiligheten i første etasje har noen få skritt ned til inngangen.

Ankomst 8/19 - 24, 2019: Denne leiligheten har en veldig praktisk beliggenhet - nær stranden, spisesteder og dagligvarebutikker. Leiligheten er romslig og veldig ren, og var perfekt for 2 par - king-senger i begge soverom og store bad i begge. Det er klimaanlegg på bare ett av soverommene (i tilfelle det er en faktor). Sørg for å hente grunnleggende dagligvarer hvis du ønsker å lage mat. Utsikten fra Lanai og Hovedsoverommet er fantastisk. Vi så noen nydelige solnedganger fra Lanai. Mindy var veldig nyttig med anbefalinger for området og var veldig imøtekommende. Mahalo for et fantastisk opphold! ~ Radhika S.

Ankomst: 25. - 31. juli 2019: Vi hadde det mest fantastiske oppholdet. Absolutt “elsket” Maui & apt. Vi la mange ting til eierne: papirhåndklær, søppelsekk, toalettpapir og noen boogie-brett for fremtidige gjester. Vi kjøpte en Costco. ~ Terri og Guy T. fra New York

Ankomst: 28. juli 2018 Ting skriver: "Vi hadde familie på 4, og vi var fornøyde med leiligheten. Det var rent og pent innredet. Flott beliggenhet, delvis havutsikt fra hovedsoverom og uteplass, 5 min kjøretur til Whaler Village og Safe Way matbutikk. De hadde smør i kjøleskapet, men vi måtte få salt og pepper selv. Totalt sett fornøyd og vil anbefale til andre. Takk! Vi likte oppholdet på leiligheten. "

Kaanapali-plantasjen (Ka-a-na-pa-lee)

Dette romslige Maui-leiligheten ligger i åssiden av Kaanapali, og tilbyr panoramautsikt fra øyene Lanai til Molokai. Bare noen få minutter fra fantastiske strender som "Flyplass" og "KP", er denne Maui-ferieleiligheten også praktisk plassert i nærheten av de prisbelønte restaurantene og butikkene i Whaler's Village. Property was not as nice as it appeared on online.Also, some of the functions of the property were not working. For instance the master bedroom blinds were broken and the bathroom sinks were not draining well.The kitchen note was fully stocked, and the location was good

Great location, fabulous view

This condo is located on the west side of Maui, in the Kaanapali area, close to great beaches. It is spacious and well outfitted for your own food prep and space. The only missing item was oven mitts! - getting the Thanksgiving turkey roaster out of the oven resulted in a bad burn. We contacted the rental management company well before needing them, but none were brought!!! The view of the ocean from the lanai & master bedroom is amazing. Wonderful way to start the day with a cup of coffee. The unit floor was filthy when we arrived, so we called the agency and they sent the cleaner to redo it - much appreciated but an inconvenience. The oven was also found not cleaned - the oven cleaner had not been wiped off so when using it for the first time, a strong chemical smell was evident. We had to turn it off, let the oven cool, clean it and then start cooking a couple hours late. Another inconvenience. The management company sent a cleaner the next day to clean the oven: did not inform us anyone was coming in!!!! We found the oven racks were changed around when we got back. We did not appreciate someone coming into our suite without warning. These issues are not owner related - it’s a lovely place and is nicely furnished. The boogie boards and beach chairs need replacing though - well past their best before date.And Lastly, the unit is located on the ground level with another Condo above. You hear every step the people above take! It’s an older building and not sound proof.

Very uncomfortably hot

The place is nice and in a good location, however it was incredibly hot inside during the day. The guest room had an air conditioner, so that room was fine. The master bedroom does not have an air conditioner, so it was too hot to stay in. I slept on the couch every night with 3 fans and every door open. The master bedroom never cooled down. I shut the blinds to block the sun and opened the windows at night, but it was still in the 80s in there. My girlfriend decided not to come, because the place was too hot. She literally canceled a Maui trip. From about 1 pm until about 7 pm, the place is too hot inside to sit comfortably. The lanai faces the afternoon sun, so that can't be utilized until sunset. I would have left, but I figured that I wouldn't have received a refund and I didn't want to lose about $1800. The solution is easy...place a window air conditioner in the master bedroom. BTW, after hundreds of hotel and VRBO stays, I've never made a comment.

No AC

In this era of global warming the bar must be raised to obtain a 5 star rating. VRBO needs to be more up front in requiring owners to include the type of climate controls the rental unit contains. Rentals not capable of maintaining a 70 F temp should have that noted upfront in the property description. Overall the unit was clean and well equipped. Back bedroom had a window ac unit, and it was much needed. Afternoon sun heated the other bedroom and the living room/kitchen. Noise levels from occupied neighboring units similar to hotels. Kitchen well equipped, bathrooms and showers clean, beds and furniture comfortable. All appliances worked well.

Nice Location in the West Side

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Plantation #52. The property management was responsive, however, they are closed on weekends so if you have any issues with the unit, you'll need to wait until the weekdays to have them resolved. The location was good if you plan to stay in the west side most of the time, otherwise, you'll find yourself driving a lot. We found ourselves having to drive North (Kahului and Wailuku) quite often because of hiking, places to eat, etc. There were a few issues such as incorrect wifi password that was provided and the washer not functioning but those were resolved quickly. In terms of the wifi password, I called the office but they did not have the password and so we checked the modem to get the password and got the wifi working. In terms of the washer not working, they offered to pick-up our clothes and wash them for us but we declined. However, they sent their maintenance guy over in the morning and he was able to fixed the washer. Last note, the floors were a bit dirty but there were swiffer wet wipes in the kitchen so I used those to clean the floors. The room with the view could use a new mattress because it sunk in the middle so it wasn't the most comfortable mattress to sleep on. It also definitely needed an AC in that room because it gets the most sun in that room which made it extremely warm/hot.

Family reunion

The home has separate bedrooms and baths which were very convenient for the privacy of different family members. The kitchen was very spacious. Many people could be cooking and visiting at the same time. The two ovens and barbecue allowed for large meals. Since there was no street parking it was nice that the driveway had room for 6 cars at a time. The pool was large enough for good games such as Marco Polo with 8+ children and adults. The views of the ocean from both levels and the landscaping added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Thank you for letting us rent this home which could be called a Villa!

Beautiful and quiet

Spectacular scenery, a quiet complex amidst many floral trees and bushes, and many beautiful birds. Within a 20 minute walk down to a beautiful beach, but be prepared to walk 25 minutes back up. Good exercise. The unit was a spacious, and well maintained. However, the floor was not clean. Removed our shoes always, but our feet or socks did not stay clean walking around.

decent for the price

The place was pretty much as described, a very nice lanai with a great view of the ocean, we even spotted some whales! Just a few negatives, a fan blade was broken in the master bedroom rendering it unusable. The owners said they would fix it during our stay, but didn't feel like dealing with that. Also, upon our entry to the place, we found hair on the shower wall that definitely wasn't ours. The kitchen could've been stocked a bit better with cooking essentials. All in all, a great little place!

Beautiful condo, furniture, grounds, view

This was truly a beautiful condo, furniture, grounds, and exceptional view from the lanai and master bedroom Extremely well equipped kitchen, deck, bedrooms etc. Pictures do not do justice to this place. It is even better in person. Even though there is no air conditioning almost all the windows are louvred on the outside, screened and louvred on the inside. Those that are not are screened and have blinds and curtains. Also deck has blinds. So with the normal Kaanapali breeze coming from the back of the condo and many ceiling fans it was always comfortable. Deck is protected from the wind. Note because it is a condo you can hear the people walking around upstairs but the noise was minor. Only thing of note was upstairs tenant seemed to be an older person so his tv was loud when on but could only be heard from the deck. I still would rent this location again. Thanks to the owner for a lovely stay.

Beautiful view, comfy stay

If you are looking for a condo with a fantastic ocean view, a quiet location and close to so much this is the place for you. We loved waking up in the morning to go sit out with our coffee and watch the whales. There was always a cooling breeze. Everything was clean but the kitchen did lack any spices, even salt and pepper. The beds were comfortable but a bit saggy. We would most definitely stay here again

52 Kaanapali Plantation

The property was beautiful and had easy access to great snorkeling and body surfing beaches nearby. The only issue I had I tried emailing and calling (3X on three separate days) regarding BBQ location and late checkout and the only way I heard back was through the VRBO website on the second last day of our vacation. While they did say their phones were down, they clearly could have responded to the email. It also wasn't very clear that the property did not have air conditioning. Overall would recommend for a November-March vacation due to the lack of air conditioning but was our favorite property so far even after the poor communications with the property manager.

Quite complex with beautiful Maui sunsets from the lanai.

We stayed in this condo complex several years ago so we were familiar with the condo layout and grounds. Hosts were great to work with. Condo was clean and very well stocked with basic necessities. Nice location. Would not hesitate to book this property again.

Good location, great view.

This property was in a great location. The view was amazing, the appliances in the kitchen were good. Most of the time we were there the pool was unoccupied. The only downside is this location didn't feel super kid friendly (we have a 7 and 5 year old). While we were at the pool, there were some tenants that made us feel very unwelcome, but other than that, it was a good place for us.

Kaanapali Plantation is perfect location!

We have stayed at the plantation several times, but this was with the entire family (19 of us!). Each family had their own condo, but we were able to enjoy the facilities at times together or other times quietly alone. I much prefer the plantation layout to the high rise hotels, but you do pretty much have to drive to entertainment.

Beautiful and Peaceful

The property is so relaxing! Cleaning was good but not perfect but I am a neat freak and have a very high standard! Would be good for most people though. Everything you need is there! The beds are very comfortable and the place is really nice! Air conditioning was not a problem for us. We never used it, as there was a wonderful breeze coming in daily - It was amazing! Sunsets were perfection each evening and didn’t have to leave the house for them! Sunrises we’re just as beautiful! I love coming to Maui and a place to stay will make or break your vacation! This condo met 4/5 of my expectations but again neat and cleanliness (even furniture) is high for me!

Beautiful property

I was initially nervous booking as there were not many reviews. This property exceeded expectations. Exceptionally clean, incredibly well stocked and very comfortable for this family with 2 teen daughters. We could even watch whales from the lanai. Very short drive to one of our favourite beaches, Black Rock! They had chairs and boogie boards to use as well! Close to all amenities. Would definitely book again in the future!

Quiet, peaceful.
