«Half an hour a at from Puerto Maldonado by boat , the place is lovely, with river view and a feel of the jungle without venturing too far. We felt like we got a good insight into the area, with included excursions on the river and into the jungle. Our guide Yuri, who was with us throughout, was very knowledgeable and good. The food was great and they had several veg options . Well stocked bar too . The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a great stay.»

«Eine sehr schöne Anlage, mein zimmer hatte leider keine funktionierende steckdose. Auch beim ansprechen (Hotelmanger) wurde dies leider ignoriert und gesagt, ich könnte ja im haupthaus laden. Desweiteren hatte mein zimmer kein Ventilator, wie andere zimmer einen hatten. Da wir uns ausgetauscht haben, wusste wir auch dass alle das selbe gezahlten hatten. Das finde ich etwas schade! »

«Posadas was a lovely jungle lodge. The staff were friendly and helpful with amazing service. Beautiful setting and Rainforest Expeditions made our transportation and excursions smooth and flawless. Food was fresh and delicious satisfying to the taste buds. The jungle sounds were wonderful to wake up to and helped to send you off to sleep. I highly recommend and would love to return sometime. A lot of wildlife just around the lodge.»

Downsides; Pool has filthy water Loud music at pool area Ridiculously priced add-ons: airport transfer is 14 soles in uber and hotel charge 120 soles; more than 10 times as much?! breakfast at 25 usd, significantly higher than any other hotel - never paid more than 15usd per person. »

«We needed a place for one night. The place is relatively cheap and for 15 sol more you can get AC, not a difficult choice in this heat. The place was clean, good private bathroom, staff was friendly and efficient. Nothing special with the place , but all around ok.»

«The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food. We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate ...
