«We were very excited to arrive at this beautiful location, however, the listing doesn't accurately describe this rental. Be aware that the windows don't close properly (or at all), there is a lot of noise during the night, properly critters. This unit is above someone and the neighbors are quite close. Very nice ferry driver! If you are into a glamping experience, it is worth it, but the price should reflect this.»

«The property was as listed. Secluded spot, but just close enough to get to town to do stuff. The check in process was seamless. The house does have some regular wear and tear, but is super cute and was great for me and my friend's to relax. My dog loved the yard. «Loved our stay at the cottage near quaint towns of Waterbury and Waitsfield with access to great restaurants, breweries and beautiful hikes! The cottage was restored nicely with all the modern amenities. Really enjoyed having an updated kitchen, bathrooms and laundry facilities. The water supply is from a mountain stream and at times the water pressure could be challenging when all needed to shower at the same time but we were able to make it work by staggering our showers. «If you are good with an authentic rustic environment- complete with small rodent catch and release trap under the stairs, a little water coming in the bedroom ceiling when it rains, bugs galore, and supplying your own drinking water— then OK. Everyone else consider yourselves forewarned. There has been absolutely no maintenance done on this property in decades. The local staff are wonderful.»

«Great location! Very helpful and friendly island staff! Wonderful screened-in front porch overlooking the lake. Nice beach with access to different water crafts. As the listing indicates, there is no A/C (and also no ceiling fans) - the property manager did bring in box fans after we asked. The house is older but clean. It doesn’t have a lot of the usual amenities and wasn’t as comfortable as other places we’ve been, but our family had fun.»
