Clean oasis in the middle of Sandton
Clean oasis in the middle of Sandton The hotel is a bit dated, but the rooms are comfortable and the service impeccable. There is a garden with a pool in the back. There is also a really nice steak house at the premises. If you want to go out at night there is a shuttle service to Nelson Mandela Square. If you are the adventurous type, it’s a 5-10 minutes’ walk from the hotel. In addition to the standard (bed, tv, bathroom), the rooms have free WiFi, both European and UK sockets if you have forgotten an adapter, a desk and a comfortable office chair. Ask for a room with a view of the garden.

Fint hotell i pent område i Santon
Et hyggelig hotell i Santon, ikke langt fra Johannesburg. God service og vennlig betjening. Litt "fasjonabelt" med piccoloer; husk å ta med litt småpenger til baggasjebærere..! God mat på restauranten. Særpreget uteområde, med et lite basseng (som ikke innbydde særlig til å svømme i, dessverre) og lite område der man kunne slappe av / sole seg. Lite "gymrom", med enkle apparater. Kjøpesenter i underetasjen.

A nice hotel
This is a nice hotel in a safe area, it is train from airport cost 115 Rand to Sandton station it take 30 min. Many resturant in Sandton area and you can walk safe. You can get guided trip to Soweto and other atractions, as you wanna find interesting !! If back to Johannesburg, i book again .-))

Safe and comfortable stay in Joburg
I liked the bed a lot, very comfy. But I thought there would be shower gown, not to mention more of amenities like shampoo and conditioner. They only offer a small soap bar, body cleanser, lotion and a shower cap. Overall staffs were really kind, breakfast was also good (nothing special). Beautiful garden.

Airport pick up arranged in advance and we were picked up almost an hour later after i had to make a phone call. We were greeted by trainee at the hotel and she was absolutely fantastic ( I wish i remembered you name you beautiful young lady). Check out however was another issue. We had to leave early in the morning (driver showed up earlier then we were told at the time of our booking). First, they wanted to charge us for a drink we never had. It’s ok, people do make mistake but that person at the reception attitude was just wrong. After that issue was resolved, she said we need to pay taxes which we paid at the time of the booking. After that, we politely asked to get 2 croissants to go because we are going to miss our paid breakfast as tour guide messed up our pick up time. She said to wait another 5 min until restaurant is open. It was just one thing after another where it felt like she was vindictive and determined to get us somehow. She really ruined our day. I usually don’t bother with feedback but I had to express my disappointment in that person. I wish i remembered your name but I am sure your lovely manager will remember you and us as well. Otherwise hotel is amazing, location is superb.

The hotel has a very good steakhouse called the Bull Run. It serves excellent dishes. It was disappointing that no bottle water was provided in the room.
