I have stayed in Signature Lux many times. It used to be a pleasure, quick check-in, clean rooms and great location. My last stay did not live up to my expectations. Problems checking in, little to no help from frontdesk, even though my booking was paid in full. After spending 35 min on hold with hotels.com, it was finally sorted out. Room was not clean. Toilet lid was very dirty, not to mention the dust and filth under the bed. This was always my Sandton hotel of choice, but not again.

Badly experience
This hotel should be good, considering the good location - close to several restaurants and Mandala Square (but it is far from all other tourist points), however the TERRIBLE service let the experience really bad. Some points: -They aren't polite, don't look at you in attendance - Don't care to be receptive, solicitous or flexible - Don't accept to keep backpacks until check-in time (only large suitcases) - The locker wasn't working - Twice there were a power outage I definitely don't recommend and would not return. There were other hotels with the same price range, but I already knew the "Signature Lux" and I thought it would be good, like the others (in others people aren't super attentive, but they are minimally polite), but the fact is that it isn't

O hotel está muito bem localizado em Sandton, próximo do shopping e da estação do Gautrain. Porém os quartos são pequenos, necessitando de manutenção em vários ítens e com um mau cheiro do banheiro. O café da manhã só tem 4 opções pré-definidas para escolher.

Staying there is more cost-effective (meaning cheaper) than other hotels of the 3star/4star designation in Sandton; and the location could not be bettered being next-door both to Mandela Square and Sandton Gautrain station

Ótima localização
Ótima localização, em frente a Mandela Square (com diversas opções de restaurantes) e shopping. Possui café e chá gratuitos na recepção. O Café da manhã é cobrado a parte e é servido em um cafeteria no térreo (a la carte). Inconveniente: você não pode chamar táxi por aplicativo na recepção do hotel pois tem um ponto em frente ao hotel. Os atendentes são cordiais.

The hotel is perfectly located, just across the street of Nelson Mandela Square. The hotel is well maintened and very clean. The room is a bit small, but just enough for a good sleep. Some employees were very helpful and friendly while others weren’t.

So firstly I don't normally stay in this type of accommodation. I normally reside in cheaper guesthouses and similar. Then again it counts as budget compared to the other places in the area. Its a generic hotel chain. Clean, secure, boring - which is probably what you want in this part of South Africa. All the rooms are identical. I know because a non draining shower tray flooded the first one. The attached cafe which does your breakfasts and will do other food during the day is excellent. Good range on offer.

Problemas com o hotel
Chegamos e o ar condicionado não estava funcionando, depois de algumas horas trocaram nosso quarto e o ar continuou não funcionando muito bem. A nossa reserva incluía café da manhã e o hotel disse que não e negou-se de olhar a confirmação da reserva no meu telefone. Não acho justo pagar pelo que não foi oferecido.
