Magical location
The Cabin in the Trees is a beautiful little cabin, nestled into a wooded hillside. It offer quiet and relaxation yet is only a short walk to all the restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed the outdoor area, which features an outdoor fireplace and multi-level deck going up the slope of the mountain. It looked so beautiful at night with all the fairy lights. The cabin itself is clean, warm, and inviting, and has everything you need. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who plans to visit the area. It was just what we needed and I hope to be back!

Mid week fall getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jim Thorpe and this wonderful cabin. The cabin is cute, clean, comfy and convenient for walking into town. Very serene and peaceful out there under the trees.

Lil Gem!
This property is amazing! Jeffery was a great host and everything went smooth for my short stay. Lots of time went into the beautiful lighted propert grounds, it was magical at night! Jim Thorpe is a lil gem in the middle of PA, cute funky town with no commercial establishments! My dog loved the train ride and her stay too :)

Wonderful!
Everything we could need was available in this beautiful, cozy tiny home within walking distance of Jim Thorpe's historic district. The grounds were amazing, with a fire pit around the back, an outdoor fireplace just off the front patio, and off-street parking. The place was perfect and lovely, and our host was very communicative making sure the place was welcoming and that we were well-informed. Would recommend!

The cabin was warm, cozy and very clean. Great accommodations with access to pathways and seating areas on the hillside behind the cabin. This property made this stay in Jim Thorpe was the best yet.

Enchanting Escape
We both loved our stay, from the modern and clean little cabin to the outdoor patio with its stone fireplace and some of the surrounding trees and shrubs lit up at night! Additionally the walking and sitting areas around the property made it rather magically fun for our dog and me to explore!

Wonderful getaway!
The cabin was just a perfect little slice of heaven tucked away on the side of a wooded hill with meticulously laid out and maintained trails and multi-level patios with views of the town below among twinkling trees (literally)! Just a magical place. We had to leave early because of an unexpected school commitment for my son but I'll be coming back this summer for some "me" time! The cabin is very well equipped, very clean and so cute. I brought my Boston Terrier, Bessie, who loved sitting in front of the electric fireplace. Prior to check in, Jeffrey sent an amazingly helpful overview of places to eat and things to do in town. He also was super responsive and a very gracious, friendly host. I can't wait to return!

Wow! So many wonderful things about this place! The house was so cozy and perfect with the beautiful backdrop of snow. But the thing we loved most (and will bring us back) is the walk in the woods with all its nooks and crannies. Such a wonderful property!

The guest house in Jim Thorpe
Jeffrey, the owner has provided a beautiful and comfortable getaway that we thoroughly enjoyed. The visit was very relaxing as Jeffrey provided a very clean and nicely decorated guest house. Everything went smoothly from checking to checkout. The short walk to the town was easy. We are definitely planning on a return visit.

Perfect getaway to unwind and unplug
Property is beautiful and well kept. Very quiet and relaxing. Management are very friendly and there for anything you need but give you all the privacy you want. The cabin is just a short walk away from all of the shops and restaurants in town. Great stay, especially if you have a dog that likes to explore. Thanks for a great couple of nights!

Private mountain getaway
The cottage is on the side of a mountain and it is a steep walk up to the street or a less steep walk if you turn by jail. There are steps going up to cottage and a big deck up above cottage, a lot of steps to get there, that is beautifully lit at night. The cottage has kitchen dishes, silverware, microwave toaster oven, refrigerator/freezer and coffee machine. The spiral staircase is narrow but fun to climb and 2 beds up in loft. Living room area is comfortable. Bathroom is small. Overall a wonderful stay and owner of main house did not bother us at all. Use of table, outside fireplace and bbq. Would definitely go back.

The cabin was immaculate, well-stocked and private with easy access to downtown. Festive lights and decorations, cookout areas and upper deck seating were added fun. Host was terrific, even offering to walk our dog! Hope to go back soon.

Ladies weekend
I saw Jeffreys magical property on VRBO and fell in love! Now having stayed there I can say for sure that it is even more gorgeous in person and didn’t disappoint! Everywhere you look there is some interesting feature to discover! Jeffrey was extremely responsive and Chad gave us many suggestions for things to do. Walk to restaurants and town and hiking trails too-Perfect weekend!

High street cottage
This property is awesome. It's in such a good location. The listing is very accurate. The hosts were very nice. Did everything to make sure we were taken care of. The cottage had everything u could think of. They had a really cool backyard. Very quiet and peaceful. My daughter loved their blankets. If there was one thing I would change it would be to upgrade the mattresses. It was a very awesome experience and we plan to come back again.

Perfect peaceful spot
This clean, cozy cabin provides the perfect place to relax after hiking biking or kayaking. Host Jeffrey is welcoming and responsive to any needs. Property manager Chad was helpful with tips for places to see in places to eat in town. This cute cabin is out of the way private and yet is still within walking distance of town. A definite A+

Relaxing Getaway in the Mountains
This cabin was the perfect stay for our anniversary. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The grounds that the cabin sits on are INCREDIBLE. My husband and I loved walking the lit paths on the hill, especially at night when it was magical. We made a fire and spent quality time together. The town of Jim Thorpe is lovely. We rode the train, spent the day biking the trails (I recommend riding to Chantilly's for some great ice cream!), and hiking at the lake. There are many cute shops and restaurants too. Jeffrey was the best-providing lists of things to do, see, and enjoy. We will definitely be back!!

AWESOME
Jeff and staff were awesome the cabin and yard were clean and very accommodating. The location was great didn’t even need my car town was a short walk away. The town was full of historic buildings and stores. Would highly recommend it for anybody looking to relax and do great sightseeing. My family and I can’t wait to do it again . Charming and idyllic
Our stay here exceeded our expectations. My partner, my dog, and I stayed for 3 nights. Jeffrey provided us with thorough pet friendly recommendations prior to our arrival. The location is just off the main road, but it feels quiet and private, yet close enough that we walked everywhere we needed to go! Both the owner and the property manager were available if we needed anything. We could not have better things to say. Drinking coffee on the cabin porch every morning was magical.

Hidden gem
This was my first trip ever to Jim Thorpe and it will certainly not be the last. The overall expanse of the town and the history and culture within we’re both enlightening and breathtaking. The entire state was made all the more better by the wonderful accommodations. It was clear to me that an immense amount of care was placed in the upkeep off the property and the thought put towards the overall guest experience. If I could rate it 10 stars I would. Will definitely be back in the future.

Hidden Magical Getaway
What an incredible gift. This location is PERFECT. It is a hidden little bungalow in the midst of trees, birds and perfection YET just a few minutes walk to town. While I hit M-W in the winter & much was closed ... I enjoyed delicious meals from Myst and Molly Maguires. I enjoyed crafting, reading and relaxing in a magical space. Plan on coming back in the warmer weather to explore more.

Anniversary weekend
