Flott hotell
Almar har rene romslige rom, hjelpsomt personale, og et flott spa anlegg. Jeg reiste alene og ble godt mottatt av alle. Hotellet ligger rett på stranden noe som også er et pluss.

Fantstisk nytt hotell helt på stranden.
Vi bodde der i 4 netter, fikk et nydelig rom i 5 etg og med havutsikt. Personalet var høflige og smilende i alle ledd!

Great new hotel with room for improvement
This is a five star hotel with the perfect location, perfect facilities, great rooms, pool, breakfast, location, bikes to rent, good wifi and so on. The only thing missing is a little tuning on the service level of the front desk staff, and some structure among the breakfast staff. The front desk ended up arguing with customers for minor details and the breakfast staff lacked routines and structure. A bit of chaos. I am sure this will be sorted out..

Litt manglende rutiner enda, ellers topp
Flott opphold, super beliggenhet med flott strand nedenfor, kort veg til gågata men i et stille område. Høy standard på hotellet selv om det rant litt ut på gulvet fra dusjen, den patenten må de kanskje se på. De har ikke lært seg optimal service i poolbaren da det kunne gå for lang tid før man fikk servering. Anbefaler hotellet om man ønsker en rolig ferie og høy komfort.

So first this is an American review. We stayed for a 3 day weekend in April. High 70’s - low 80’s. It was a great property and right on the beach. The biggest issues we dealt with were the chairs and umbrellas had not yet been put out on the beach, but other hotels did, so the beach wasn’t very enjoyable. It is considered their off season and they had an amazing pool area so not a huge loss. The biggest problem is no AC. Which is a normal thing, but not for Americans. 5 star hotel but you can’t have AC in your room, so the first night it was rough and we almost checked out and left. The second day it cooled down and was manageable. The pool area is great it has 5 pools. Two small ones were empty, but had no impact for us. The others are all together. One is inside and heated connected by a sliding glass door in the pool to another outside pool. The other pool is directly connected with a small wall and extends next to the restaurant. The only issue is the bar is down one floor from the pool and it’s hard to get a drink pool side. You either need to go down and order and have them deliver back to pool side or grab one of them as they are bringing someone else’s drinks out. I would just have a small bar near the pool and they would get so much more business. Another small issue was the bar near the end of our trip they started to rush drinks and did not add all the ingredients or only filled cups half way. Breakfast was amazing. Something’s are extra but the basics are great.

However, we would like to inform you that since 25 April the beach reserved for Almar has been fully equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds and, thanks to the presence of lifeguards, there is the possibility for all guests to bathe.We thank you for enjoying our indoor spa pool and the majestic 70-meter pool, partially covered and heated to three different temperatures. We would like to inform you that the two empty swimming pools do not belong to the Resort but are the property of the two buildings in front of the resort. We would also like to inform you that there is our summer pool bar “Lightblue Bar” at the edge of our swimming pool. However, it is actually operated during the high season months, i.e. from June to September, while during the remaining months it is serviced in the best way by our The River Lounge Bar staff. We are very sorry and apologize for the inconvenience with the drinks service, we will talk to the bar manager to better understand what may have happened and we will try to further improve our service.Lastly, we understand with regret that the temperature of the room was not to your liking, in this regard we would like to point out that during the period of your stay the temperatures were much higher than normal for this season, and in fact the abnormal heat only lasted a few days. As for the air conditioning of the hotel is centralized, however it can be modified by the guest raising or lowering by one or two degrees, and if it was not enough you can ask for it to be adjusted further to the reception staff, which is always available.We apologize again if everything has not lived up to your expectations and we will talk with the whole team to try to improve more and more the services offered.Hoping to welcome you back to Almar to offer you a better experience we offer you our best wishes,Monica BonamassaResident Manager

Im Großen & Ganzen ein sehr schönes Hotel, mit ausgezeichnetem Service, das ganze Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend! Das Frühstück ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sogar auf Unverträglichkeiten & Allergien wird geachtet, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Zwei Aspekte waren leider nicht so positiv: die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, sodass man abends beim Einschlafen die Nachbarn hört. Außerdem ist die Tiefgarage sehr klein, da hat man mit großen Autos eher Schwierigkeiten. Aber vor dem Hotel gibt es auch Parkplätze. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen & wir würden wieder kommen!

Everything was amazing and there’s not a thing I could complain about. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pool and beach were clean and enjoyable. Food was also delicious, especially the breakfast.
