Just a 7 min walk to Path Train, this apartment is conveniently located for groups looking to travel to Manhattan, Downtown Jersey, and Hoboken just a few stops away!

The apt has 3 incredibly comfortable bedrooms, 1 large marble tiled bathroom with a walk in shower, a fully stocked kitchen with Whirlpool stainless steel appliances, a dining table and 3 smart TVs throughout - 60", 55" and 50".

Accurate description, great communication. Only issue for super young / super old folks might be the entry stairs burning you’re aged 6-60 you’re fine. Will stay here again.

Visiting family in Jersey City. This is a dense urban area, which requires a certain level of security to feel safe, especially for a woman staying on her own. You enter the exterior door using a key code, then there are two units inside, same key code to enter the apartment. The insides appear to have been updated and are well kept. A slow bathroom sink drain, no ice or ice trays, and empty shampoo/body wash containers were mild inconveniences. The major problem I discovered on my first night was that the deadbolt would not lock. I called Matt and he said they couldn’t repair it that evening (it was after 9pm) but would get it fixed the next day. The next day, after texting twice about it he responded at 5pm that someone was on the way. They were unable to fix it. They then arranged for a locksmith but said I had to be the one to meet him since they were home with a young baby. We agreed I would meet him at 9:30pm after I was home from visiting with my family. He did not show. I said I could wait until 11pm then I was leaving. I did not feel safe and was not interested in spending another night with one eye open, so after waiting until 11pm, I left and checked into a hotel.I initiated with cust service on 11/15, and as of 11/28, owners had not answered calls or responded to any of the inquiries. I have been told this property will be removed from VRBO. If it remains, I can only hope they have a better plan going forward to address urgent renter concerns.

My family and I stayed here in August this year. It is in a perfect location to access the PATH commuter train to Manhattan (just around the corner). It was the most convenient for accessing the different areas of Manhattan. We also really enjoyed sightseeing and exploring Jersey City. It was a nice surprise with great restaurants and the best place to view the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in Liberty Park. The owner Matt was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment is clean and comfortable. We loved the neighbourhood with its authentic vibe.

A comfortable and convenient apartment that’s just a short Path train ride to Manhattan. It’s a great deal compared to similar rentals in NYC. The apartment was clean and well set up. The host was responsive and professional.

Tous trés contents

L'appartement était conforme aux images et à la taille annoncée (75m2). Nous sommes arrivés, le ménage était en cours, (gênant mais pas grave). Du coup, ils se sont un peu trop pressés. C'était pas terrible.Mais le propriétaire a été très réactif et ça n'a pas duré. Il a aussi été très sympa et arrangeant pour l'heure de départ.Facile d'accès en Path, l'entrée à l'appartement est facile. Nous avons beaucoup appréciés globalement la location tous les 5.On aurait aimé pouvoir fermé le puis de lumière dans la chambre du milieu: la lumière était gênante le matin.

Apartment was ok

The beds and furniture were all clean. Bottle of wine left out for guests. Coffee pods readily available. The stay was fine, but the apartment needs some serious TLC. Windows were cracked open on arrival letting cold air in (we didn't figure this out until after the first night), and we did our best to close them. Windows and blinds were very dirty. Uneven floors, cracks in the shower, etc. It's an old building that needs a lot of work.

Good times in NYC

We enjoyed the stay here. The properly was as described and clean and neat. The location was okay and easily can walk to PATH for transport into Manhattan. It did take longer than expected, but we were on vacation so no issues. All in all, good!

Rundum gelungen

Der Aufenthalt und die Unterkunft passte perfekt für uns. Wir haben uns in der Umgebung sicher und wohl gefühlt. In ein wenigen Minuten Fußweg gab es einen Supermarkt, in dem wir uns mit den nötigsten versorgen konnten. Ein paar Meter weiter war die UBahn-Station, von der aus eine regelmäßige Verbindung nach Manhattan besteht. Unsere Jungs hatten jeweils ihren eigenen kleinen Rückzugsraum, die Ausstattung war zwar nicht hochmodern, aber in Ordnung und beinhaltete alles, was wir brauchten. Mehr benötigte es in unseren Augen für einen klassischen Touristenbesuch in NY nicht. Die Korrespondenz war nett und die Abwicklung maximal unkompliziert. Sehr zum empfehlen.

Great location and proximity to NYC

Pretty responsive host and a great location. The apartment is very near to the Journal square PATH station. No complaints other than some minor cosmetic things that need to be taken care of at the apartment. Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

Yankees game visit

It was a great experience. The apartment was clean and very well equipped. It had a really cute 'Jersey vibe'. AC worked great. The neighborhood is older but never any issues. People of the neighborhood were very friendly. Parking was more difficult, but expected. It usually depended on the time of day you were trying to park. I believe the description said the apartment had a dryer but it didnt have a washer or dryer. We were walking distance to the PATH transportation system which was very nice. A really good Mexican restaurant right around the corner. It was a very nice experience and we would definitely return.

Adorable and Affordable

Great little apartment. However listing needs up dated. There is almost NO parking on the street and you will get a ticket if parked for more than 2 hours. Towels are provided but only towels- no wash clothes. Also if you are sharing a bed and you or your partner are blanket hogs, the only thing on the bed is a fitted sheet and a Thick comforter. No throws, blankets or flat sheets. Also only one TV was signed in Netflix- one of the spare rooms. Living room and master bedroom were not. I messed Matt about it and did not get. A response, so up until then, Matt was excellent at responding to any questions and concerns. Overall, very very satisfied just a few things. I wish I’d known before I got there.

Affordable multi space for family nyc trip

Cute apartment in Jersey City that maximized space. Worked well for us as it gave our adult kids their own space at the end of busy days in NYC. It is a relatively quick easy walk to PATH train into the city. Had a cute little eat in kitchen area and sofa seating area with tv. Building and neighborhood are older and it shows, but as long as you expect that going in, you should be able to enjoy your stay and appreciate the more economical option . It is light and bright…bring a sleeping mask if you wish to sleep in! Towels and linens were good, but would have liked a few extra hand towels. Check in process was easy and great information shared about area.

Good place to stay specially if its just sleeping, we miss understood how many can fit but we find solution. The owner (math) is nice and easy to negotiate. I just gave 4 stars due to miss communication .over all its a good place to stay

The Stay Was A Painful Experience, Literally

I stayed from December 29, 2023, to January 1, 2024. On December 31, as I was getting ready to head out to New Year’s Celebrations, I reached behind the kitchen sink to pull back the curtains. Little did I know, there was a broken glass window that extended below the rear of the sink, where I couldn’t see the broken glass. The broken glass was still embedded in the frame, and sticking up from the frame. When I reached behind the sink, I cut open a finger on my right hand. After two hours of trying to stop the bleeding, I decided to go to Urgent Care. The first Urgent Care did not accept my VA Insurance. The second one did not either. The third Urgent Care did accept my VA insurance. This third Urgent Care numbed my finger with pain shots, and put in four stitches. I was given a tetanus shot, and a week’s worth of antibiotics. I need to go back to my local VA after 12 days and have the stitches taken out. I am still in pain. This property was not in a safe condition, and it wasn’t worth the money I spent, considering the whole affair ruined my New Year’s Eve, and caused me a lot of pain.

Great stay in NYC

We really enjoyed our stay at Matt’s apartment in Jersey City. Great location, easy access to Journal Square PATH station to the City. Clean apt with ample space. Matt was a great host, and offered some good recommendations for nearby coffee and pizza. There are a lot of stairs to walk up, which wasn’t a problem for us - but should be considered for anyone renting. Nice touch with Christmas decorations in the apt for the holidays as well! You won’t go wrong with this apt for a trip to NYC.

The rental unit was very well placed for access to the PATH train into NYC. The neighborhood was nice enough. There were lots of services close at hand. The unit was clean and comfortable. Everything worked. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Space in the City

We had a very nice stay in Matt’s Jersey City property. The updated condo allowed every member of our family to have a little space after a day in the city. We also chose this property because it was close to the PATH into Manhattan and was reasonably priced. Together this allowed for an extended stay. Matt is an attentive host who strives to make his guests feel at home. Any guests visiting from smaller cities or suburbs should be prepared for a stay in a urban setting and older property. This does not detract from the stay if you have informed expectations and keep an open mind. Our family felt safe, comfortable, and had a blast.

Great property
