Whispering pines retreat is located on a beautiful, secluded property.
Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway with modern amenities or some fun around the lake and the campfire, you will be sure to find something you love. A massive two person walk in shower and a glass overhead door that can be opened for a wide-open view directly overlooking the pond.
There is room to enjoy a nice walk around the pond or spend some time fishing (catch and release only). Or you can enjoy some time in the hot tub overlooking the water as the sun is setting, this peaceful getaway can be whatever you want it to, whether its romantic time with your spouse or an action packed fun time with the whole family, you will love what this place has to offer.
The space has two Bedrooms, one bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, the other bedroom has a queen bed, there are a few air mattresses available (1 queen, 2 twins) that can be used to sleep on the patio or indoors, the 4 recliners in the living area are zero percent gravity so they are nice to sleep in as well. Feel free to set up camping tents outside in the grass area if you like.
There is a swimming area and an outdoor shower that can be used as you prefer. There is no lifeguard on duty so you will swim at your own risk. This property is not suitable for children, the pond is 25ft from the house, Wear life vests anytime you are near the water.
Kayaks are available for you to enjoy.
Fishing is allowed (catch and release only) you will need to bring your own fishing poles and bait. Some awesome bass fishing in this pond.
Firewood is provided for the campfire.
You will have the entire house and lake to yourself (Villa #1). There is another pond and villa similar to this one located on the same property but situated separately, refer to the photos to see the layout. Please keep your group to the pond and area of Villa #1.

Whispering Pines retreat is located only 1/2 mile off SR 30. 10 minutes from Wooster and 15 minutes from Ashland, Mohican Hills Golf course is within 1/2 mile and Mohican State Park/Loudonville OH is only a 20-minute drive.
There is plenty of parking space on the property for a few vehicles.
(SEASONAL NOTE) During winter months and considering the fast weather changes we get here in Ohio, your outdoor activities and time fishing or on the lake can be very minimal due to snow and cold, when we have a lot of cold weather the entire lake may be frozen over, we keep the hot tub up and running all winter which is wonderful to spend time in when the temps are cold and the surroundings are covered in snow.
