We had a family of 7, 6 adults and 1 toddler, spend the week at this vacation rental. We enjoyed having the 3 bathrooms so that each family unit had a bathroom to themselves. The location was perfect as we were within walking distance of the Holiday Inn pool, which we enjoyed having access to, as well as within walking distance to the beach. We chose to rent chairs, umbrellas, carts/wagons, and a cooler through Jekyll Realty. This made beach sitting very enjoyable. We also rented a golf cart through Red Bug that was fun for tooling around the island. The home itself had plenty of space both in the kitchen/dining area as well as in the upstairs living area. We did not use the downstairs living area much other than when one of us couldn't sleep at night and as a dumping area for our beach bags. There are only 3 areas that I would see needing improvement. Some, not all, of the furniture was worn and looked dirty. I realize many vacationers come in and out of this property so that may not be something that is a priority. The stairwell walls and handrail were dirty/in need of a fresh coat of paint, which made the first impression a little low. Again, may not be a top priority since so many people come and go. The last thing, and this is just a personal thing, is the hardness of the water. After being at the beach and covered with sunblock, it was very hard to get a clean feeling shower due to the hardness of the water. Something a water softener might help. But again, I don't know how rental properties work and this is purely personal.
