Young man that checked us is was less than polite. Big holes in the bathroom door, ashtray in non smoking room and smelled of smoking, smoke detector was gone except wires, refrigerator looked like it had fallen from the truck. The shower was ok and bed was good except for the 6” bar the stuck out below the bed that was painful when hit. I gave it a 2 because we slept ok.

This is the only hotel in the área. If you can stay in Grove, do it. I had paid for two rooms. Once I get there, I was told that I had only paid for one. After, I showed him my reservation he decided to give me the other room. The TV in our room only could display one channel. When I went to ask him for a solution, he apologized and said they were sold out and that I could maybe download the Roku app if I had a smart phone. Oh, bring your own breakfast as you will not find much food to eat. He had two gallon bottles of milk in the little fridge. One was empty, and the other one had maybe half a cup of milk. He also had some old cereal and same nasty looking cookies. It is not our first time there, but we were there for a funeral and Grove was a bit far from our family.

Upon check in, we had to wait 5-10 min for someone to come to the desk, couldnt understand what he was saying. There was absolutely no hot water, barely got luke warm, called front desk and no one answered so we had to drive to the office, wait another 5-10 min for yet a different person to come help us. Then told we could use a community area? No thank you. I would have to drive to that area, as there was snow and we werent going to walk, then drive back to our room, wet from having showered in a different room. Not pleased with this visit

Not the best
Our stay was ok. Had to kill a couple roaches, only lock was on the doorknob, no secondary lock/deadbolt. Person in next room was very unsettling and watched us come and go.

Older motel. Very basic room. Clean. Bed was comfortable but not like places that cost 3x as much. For the price and just an overnight place to lay my head, this worked okay. Had my wife been with me though, I would have gone to the next town over and paid 3-4x more for something newer. Overall though, HP worked fine for me…a 68 yr old male golfer.

As always the gentleman at the front met my expectations he was professional and courteous I asked for a late check out and he had no issues with that. Definitely do plan on returning.

Arrived a bit early and was able to check in no problems, the man at the front was very friendly. I did call ahead of time and request a late check out and they accommodated no problems. I did notice In my room the floor around the table and chair was still dirty but overall pretty satisfied with my stay. I'll probably be booking another stay here in a month or so

Get what you pay for..
I got what I expected and what I paid for. I did not expect much. It was a $50.00 Motel room. There was nothing fancy but the onsite manager did his best to make my stay good. Really nice guy who is trying his best. He allowed me to park my boat next to a plug to charge my batteries and the parking lot was well lit with security cameras. I wouldn't leave anything loose in your boat. 10 minutes from the ramps a Lake Eucha. I highly recommend The Mexican restaurant next door. The salsa sucked (like water), ask for the good salsa (spicy).

Unclean.
Office where you check in was closed, had to call a number to get someone to front desk. The office where you check in at reeks with horrible order and smells like old wet dog or mold/mildew stench. Our room was not even clean, hair was in bath/shower. Hair was in bed sheets and pillows, no one had cleaned that room. Dust all over furniture, walls had stains and marks all over it so did head rest of beds. Furniture on seats was torn and wore out. The table and microwave had food crumbs left on it. Plain and simple our room was not cleaned so I asked for another room, which I went to it and it was supposed to be non-smoking but had smoke smell in it and it was dirty and not clean. Finally got offered a 3rd room and it was clean and no smoke smell in it but this is so unacceptable.Sad thing is we have stayed in this motel in the past 3 years and it was great with no problems at all, do not know what has happened in the past 12-18 months but it is no where as good as it was and I will not go back, too bad, a shame, was a a very nice place to stay.

For the price this place was exactly as expected. Roadside motel, the bed was comfy and things were clean. It’s dated, but the room was clean and quiet. Friendly check in clerk too!
