Step out of your room and the pool is right there. No corridors, no detours, no barriers between sleeping and swimming.
The architecture here is deliberate. The long bedroom wing and the long pool are parallel by design, creating a sense of scale and flow that guests consistently describe as bigger and better than the photos suggest. Above it all, the primary suite sits on its own level with a private terrace. And above that, a rooftop with unobstructed panoramic ocean views.
Jan Thiel Beach is a 12-minute walk. Everything else arranges itself around the pool.

THE VILLA
Villa Larga is designed around a single architectural idea — a long, open property where the pool, the bedrooms and the living spaces all exist on the same plane, connected and facing each other across an open deck.
The three ground floor bedrooms sit along one wing, each accessible from the gallery corridor, a covered, glass-walled walkway that runs the full length of the bedroom wing with the pool deck on one side and the bedroom doors on the other. It is one of the most distinctive details of the property. Step outside your room and you are immediately in the outdoor space, with the pool directly in front of you and the Curaçao sky above.
The living room and kitchen anchor the main block, connecting naturally to both the bedroom wing and the upper level. The primary suite upstairs has its own private terrace, the only bedroom with dedicated outdoor space at that level. Above the upper block, a rooftop staircase leads to an unobstructed panoramic view of the ocean and surrounding landscape.
Bedroom 3 on the ground floor includes a private kitchenette with cooktop and fridge, making it a naturally self-contained space within the property. Bedroom A also has its own private entrance from the front of the house — a useful detail for guests who want complete independence of movement.

The pool runs the full length of the villa and it’s the first thing guests see, the last thing they leave and the detail that comes up in almost every review. NOTABLE DETAILS: ENERGY TRANSPARENCY
Villa Larga includes 40 kWh of electricity per night, enough for comfortable evening air conditioning throughout the property. Usage above that is billed at $0.50 per kWh and settled after checkout. In practice most guests find the included allowance covers their needs comfortably, particularly when enjoying the trade winds during the day and using air conditioning primarily at night. We share this upfront because we'd rather you know before you book.
A $500 security deposit (where applicable) held on your credit card is required at booking.
For stays of 7 nights or more, a mid-stay clean is required. This is a standard part of how we manage longer stays and ensures the home remains in excellent condition throughout your visit. We coordinate the timing with you in advance.
