The room was clean and ac worked well. There was no extra lock on door. Used to be since the flip over piece was still there and only holes on other side. TV didnt work. Electrical outlet next to sink did not work. No kleenex nor shampoo or soap. No stopper in tub nor sink. Worst of all there were roaches in the room. I will not stay here again.

I picked the Red Roof from other local properties based on the customer rating in Expedia -- but I have to say I would not have rated the place nearly so high. It was rather old and worn. My room seemed clean enough - except for the corners of the tiled floor, which seem to have escaped mopping for Lord knows how long. My bedspread was stained but seemed clean. The included breakfast was very skimpy (after taking a look, I breakfasted elsewhere).

Reception gentleman polite and bed was comfortable. BUT we had lots of issues: no Kleenex, no hair dryer, no cups for water to brush our teeth, cockroach on the sink, had to ask front desk for tv remote which didn’t work very well.

I was given a used room; both beds in the room were undone. The room number was 205. I asked for an unused, clean room, and the associate instructed me to wait. After a brief absence, he returned and provided me with another room, 206. Upon entering 206, I discovered it was also a used room, although the beds appeared to have been hastily organized. Upon opening the comforter to check the sheets, I found crumbs and other debris. It became clear that the associate had simply attempted to quickly tidy up the room, effectively offering me another used, unclean room, which was completely unacceptable! I have videos to prove that the associate is a sneaky and dishonest person.

Overbooked, they called and said they didn’t have a room for us. Three other people booked the last room and whoever gets there first will have it. We got there in time to get the room, but it was dirty - bathroom floor dirty with hair and roach. Everything was old and worn. Only 2 towels in room. Breakfast was very limited, with only cereal, waffles, packaged muffins, a bag of bread, coffee and milk. There was no juice, yogurt, fruit, etc. The breakfast area was also dirty, with two out of order bathrooms and boxes of replacement mini-fridge and televisions. The room is also noisy, as the weather strip was missing from the bottom of the door and it is right by the interstate.

Positive: This property was a convenient stop. I appreciate that pets are allowed. Negative: The bathroom was not clean and the television did not work. I did not appreciate being charged a $50 deposit fee for incidentals with the charged being reversed in 5-7 business days. The floor was dirty and the mini fridge was rusted and dirry with the microwave placed on top to hide the mess. This property is in dire need of some TLC. I will not stay at this property again.

My first two nights I got to the room late showered and went right to sleep mind you I’m a hard sleeper but my last night around 1am I wake up feeling something on my arm so I brushed my arm off and turned on the lights to see a roach crawling on the bed I swiped it off and got up to kill it. When I got up I noticed 4 more in the floor. I went to grab the room ovine to call the front desk. When I grabbed the phone to out it to my ear I see two other roaches on the ear piece of the phone. That’s when I packed my bags and checked out. Went right to the loves gas station a few miles away to have to wash my clothes so I don’t bring roaches to home. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. Never again will I stay in a red roof

Very disappointing stay - no where near a 7.2 rat
I’ve stayed here several times before but was very disappointed this time - no soap or toiletries in the room, no hair dryer, stained bedspreads, deadbolt was broken, no smoke alarm, no daily housekeeping except one day when the used towels were taken but not replaced, neither was the empty toilet paper roll replaced. Tub faucet leaked and the ceiling above the tub leaked from the second floor. I’ll never stay here again.

Take the hard pass and go elsewhere.
Only thing clean in the room was the toilet paper. Ants on the folded bath mat. Unfolded the bath mat and the inside was filthy. Bed covers were stained. Bathtub was stained and rusty. Top of mini fridge was all rusted, and not just a little. Entry Door seal left enough room for light and rodents to run through. Room was musty smelling. Breakfast was a joke-not even a water. Would have passed if it weren’t so late and exhausted. Get what you pay for. I guess not. Expectations were not high but this was beyond a bad buy.

Close to I-10. Good mattress. Good cooling. No facial tissues. Loose toilet seat (I tightened by hand). No note pad and pen. No dial tone on phone. Light bulb out on wall light. Had to get one from office and install. Dog barking constantly from upstairs room starting 4:45AM. (Definitely not an official companion dog.) Stayed here two times. Never again. Will stay at Motel 6 up the street.
