Cap off your day, by relaxing in the family room while watching your favorite movie, tv show or the Volunteers (okay, maybe Ohio State too!). The family room features a stone fireplace for a warm ambiance while you relax after a great day waterskiing, wakeboarding and surfing on Norris Lake (make sure to stop at the jumping rock and rope swing too!)

Spending long days enjoying all Norris Lake can leave you desiring a comfy night’s sleep.

The main level features two private king suites, each complete with lake views and deck access, a flat-screen TV, a private en-suite bath, and a walk-in shower to freshen up.

The lower level features two additional private king suites, each complete with lake views and deck access, a flat screen TV, and a private en-suite bath complete with tub shower combo.

THE BUNK ROOM
The fifth bedroom, located just off the lower level family room, is set up as a bunk room, with 2 sets of twin over full bunks, a flat screen tv, and a private bath with a tub shower combo.

THE LOCATION
Hiwassee Holiday is conveniently located on Norris Lake near I-75 and features a great lakefront location, featuring a private dock with 2 boat slips, a large lounging area, and a firepit.

The private dock offers space for two boats and features a large area to enjoy the sun and water – the boat launch is conveniently located within a short distance, at the end of a nearby cove.

Two marinas are located within a quick boat ride of Hiwassee Holiday - Mountain Lake Marina and Twin Cove Resort & Marina.

Jonathan is very good on communication. The house is very m, very nice. The only issue we had is arriving at night, and in the rain. Navigating the driveway is not for the timid. Especially in the rain and at night.

Our host was a fast and great communicator. We had a couple of things to contact them about and responses came within minutes. There was a fully equipped, large kitchen, which we utilized for meals, as well as a nice grill out on the deck. The bedrooms were spacious, very comfortable, with a private full bathroom for each. We also enjoyed a multitude of boxed games to play around the large dining table. The lake view was incredibly beautiful. I spent a significant amount of time just sitting and reading, while enjoying the wonderful view. The road to the house is very lightly traveled for anyone wanting to get a nice walk in. This house has everything that a family would need for a relaxing vacation. This will be a #1 choice for future family vacations.

Great stay

Beautiful property and great location on the lake. Easy drive (some Norris properties are treacherous to get to!) - and easy proximity to grocery, stores, marinas. Already planning to book again next summer! Lots of space for togetherness and space to spread out as well. We have been coming to Norris every summer for 12 years - easily my favorite property to stay. Hosts were wonderful and accomodating. 10/10!

Clean and serene

A very beautiful, very clean, well kept property! They have everything you could possibly need. The 4 king suites were perfect for our large family. Quiet, beautiful location but still close to several marinas.
Perfect spot for s’mores every night!
We spent hours at the dock both at the shaded table and chairs and the lounge chairs and on the giant lily pad! Some of us even did a little fishing!

Outstanding!

Such a great house! The 4 king suites with the additional bunk room was perfect for our group of 4 couples with 4 kids. The dock is perfect. Rented a pontoon boat and jet ski and being able to have the dock for these was spot on. Kitchen was nicely equipped and we had everything we needed. Great communication with the owners. From what we could tell, the walk down to the dock is not bad at all for a Norris Lake property. Some properties you almost have to rappel down to. This has a nice, wide concrete walkway and then only a few step down to the dock itself. The lake was awesome! Never been here before but the water is so clear for a lake. Can see probably 12-15 feet down. This part of the lake was quiet with very light traffic. We had an awesome time and will be back!

Family Lake Adventure

This is an amazing property. Wonderful views of the lake. We loved that each bedroom had a private bath. Lots of room for our family. Has about everything you need to prepare meals in house. Great Boat dock with floats, kayak and lily pad. The adults and kids enjoyed swimming off the dock. The owners are very responsive and very helpful. You will love this place

Awesome property

The views from the house are absolutely stunning. The house itself is incredible - beautiful and extremely well laid out. Everything you might need is provided. The only negative is the narrow, windy road to get to the house (quite dicey if you meet someone going the other way), but it is the price you have to pay for the wonderful views you get once you arrive. Highly recommend this place!

We held a family vacation at this property and it was perfect- everything was exactly as described and couldn’t ask for a nicer place to host a family get together. Make sure to bring extra paper products like they mention and some extra towels for the kitchen but otherwise 6 out of 5 stars - thank you!

Doctoral Graduation/Family Reunion

Simply, the most perfect place for our families celebration gathering. Beautiful, functional, smart design, ginely crafted stunningly, gorgeous home in a breathtaking setting. The design of the home allowed space for our large group gathering as well as split private suites. Since we (14 adults) were all getting ready for the same event at the same time (Doctoral Graduation) the 5.5 baths and private suites were much enjoyed. Other family and friends joined us as at the home for lunch afterwards. The two refrigerators, large kitchen and madsive dinning table were ideal for our needs. Ever photo moment we will have to cherrish for generations include the beautiful architecture of this home and east tennessees, Norris lake.

Perfect For Our Family

Looking for the perfect layout? Look no further! The four king suites along with the bunk room were completely perfect for our family of 9. So much common space for family to gather inside and out and then private quarters for everyone - we could not have asked for anything more. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and beautiful views made our stay exactly what we were looking for. Our family left talking about returning for our Christmas family time tradition. Can’t imagine anyone being disappointed in booking a stay here. Great accommodations and great communication.

Perfect Place For Us

We had 4 couples, longtime friends coming from 3 different parts of the country. This place was absolutely perfect for us. Well stocked kitchen and supplies. Loving the Lake

We had a wonderful week. The house is everything you want in a lake house and more. We had more than enough room for 3 families from 70 to 6 years old. The rooms were spacious and each bedroom having an attached bathroom is a game changer. The kitchen is well stocked, there’s ample room to park several vehicles, the natural gas grill worked great, the beds are comfortable, the decks have multiple seating areas, and the dock is easily accessible. Minimal steps to the dock! There were several chairs on the dock, a kayak, and the grandchildren loved the lily pad. Also, the ladder into the water from the dock was very sturdy and easy to go in and out of the water. The marina was very convenient. We parked our cars and didn’t move them until we packed up to leave. Everything about our week was perfect. We all look forward to staying here again!

Plenty of space

The house had plenty of space for our extended family. The 4 King bedrooms and bunk room worked out great! The house was clean. We enjoyed having plenty of outdoor seating on the deck and appreciated being able to use the lilly pad and nice dock chairs. There is a boat launch .3 miles away and Mountain Lake marina is right across the lake. We will be back!

Beautiful lakefront home

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house on Norris Lake! The house is newer with upscale finishes and furniture. It was more than enough room for our family of 6 adults and 2 children. There aren't many houses at Norris Lake with easy access to the lake. While it is an uphill walk to the house, it is manageable, and my grandsons liked fishing off the dock and even caught a few small fish there.
