I already raised these concerns with the owner. If a property is not ready to meet the expectations of an international platform such as Expedia, I honestly question why it is advertised there. In my opinion, this property does not meet the basic standards I would expect from a hotel.
Communication was also a major issue. The owner and the receptionists had very limited English, which made it difficult to communicate. The cleanliness of the building was below expectations, and the room itself was not as we expected and appears in the photos.
Our biggest concern was related to food preparation. We explained that my mother has a special health situation and that we needed a suitable place to prepare her food. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, the owner refused and told me that if I cooked, he would kick us out of the property. This was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable, especially for a family staying for several nights.
The positive side is that the evening receptionist and the cleaner were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. Unfortunately, the daytime receptionist was not helpful, and the overall experience did not match what we expected from a property advertised internationally as a hotel.
