We reserved a Kingsized bed room and received a 2 bed room instead but decided to keep it. The room was clean, the housekeeping staff were very good and the bottled water supply was kept full. Strangely, there was a coffee machine and ice bucket in the cupboard. No coffee was supplied (except the morning when we were checking out) and there was never an ice machine anywhere to be found. Others told us the same story. Suggestions? A small fridge would be helpful, plus packets of coffee for the supplied machine. The hotel staff are great, the ambience is one of a slightly “tired” hotel and certainly caters to Mexicans. The food is “good”, salads and fresh fruit superb. The location on the beach is very good as one can walk either way. Overall, the stay was a bit disappointing.
