Fantastisk service, renhold og lokasjon, men ekstremt dyrt. Fullt monopol når det ikke finnes andre hotell på stedet, så prisene var overrasket dyre. Brukte gjennomsnittlig 1200 USD per dag for lunch og middag som ikke var inkludert for 2 voksne og 1 barn, da med 1 flaske vin til middag.

Worst hotel management
Over water villa room was spacious with nice private pool, but the sewage system underneath the toilet was so poor that we had poo smell in the bathroom since day 1 to day 4, and resort didn't offer any room change. Handheld shower head quality was quite poor and water doesn't come out evenly. Before you use outdoor shower, suggest to turn on the water and run it for at least 1 full minute, because I nearly had brown colour water pouring over me, which was absolutely disgusting. The water sports centre staffs were very friendly and helpful, we've had a great time jet skiing and wake surfing. These water sports activities is probably the best things to do in this resort. If you have a late flight on the day you checkout, don't expect this resort will give you a late checkout even if the resort is not full. Our flight was 11:40pm and the personal butler said she will let us know if can late checkout a night before, when she told us the bad news due to full capacity and nothing can be offered, we found there are same room (and more room types) still available, when we showed the availabilities to hotel staffs, the wording changed to due to "high" capacity, late checkout is not allowed. We have stayed in a number of different resorts in Maldives, this was the only resort that shows unwilling attitude to cater the guest who have spent additional USD10k on dining and activities. We will never come back to Waldorf Astoria again. We went to Four Seasons to stay half day in the end.

Amazing hotel, gorgeous rooms. Great stuff, food at the restaurants is over priced, could use a bar for the evening, but other than that everything is perfect. A true gateway! Special thanks to Mohan the manager at tasting table. A fabulous man. ❤️

Perfect Stay
Everything was amazing and even a couple of things that weren’t perfect upon our arrival were so attentively fixed with such respect and care that I don’t even remember what these were. We have stayed in many top Maldives hotels before and I would, having compared them, would rate the WA very highly. We even got to see a dolphin right outside our villa at sunset! Beautiful island, fantastic food, and (very important for me) no show - offs like in the “famous” One and Only which was such a headache. We are definitely coming back! Thank you Waldorf Astoria for our delightful stay!

What an amazing stay at Waldorf Astoria. Villas were modern and spacious, always cleaned twice a day and the whole resort was spotless. From our arrival we felt the staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. We really enjoyed all their restaurants especially Chinese Li Long. We had very high expectations for this resort as we come to Maldives every year and already tried top resorts and must say Waldorf exceeded all expectations. So well organised, luxurious, and a true 5 star service we liked it so much there that we prolonged our stay to another week. Thanks to amazing team, for making our stay special.

Exceptional luxury in paradise
The guest villas are the most luxurious we have ever experienced! Overall food quality and choice was excellent but the decor and ambience of Terra, Yasmeen and Li Long needs to be addressed.
