Du kan ikke ha noen venner etter en ferie på "Suncatcher" på 7 på 41st Ave, siden du vil ønske å la alle vite hva en fantastisk tid du har på Isle of Palms på dette fantastiske hjemmet. Du kan lage ditt eget postkort med et bilde av det private svømmebassenget på "Suncatcher". Det er vakkert og veldig uvanlig at et fire soverom hjemme ville ha et privat basseng. Når det er på tide å slå på stranden, er en strandtilgangssti ideelt plassert ved enden av blokken, slik at du på fem minutter kan nyte "Blue Wave Beach", en nasjonalpris til Isle of Palms for renslighet av stranden og havet. Hovedsoverommet er romslig, hvor du finner en king size-seng og en sovesofa. Hovedsoverommet Badet er like stor med boblebad. Det første gjestesoverommet har to queen size-senger, og det andre gjestesoverommet har en enkel queen size-seng. "Suncatcher" kan sove 11 personer komfortabelt. Når "Suncatcher" ble bygd, må designeren ha hatt ditt postkort i tankene. Dette fantastiske hjemmet har dekk overalt. micro stay

Our stay at this house was more than what we had anticipated. Was planning on going to the beach during our stay but ended up enjoying the house instead. The amenities were great for our group. As for the house, it was in great condition when we arrived. So we made sure it looked exactly how we found it. Thanks so much to avant- for hosting us. We plan on booking with you guys again!

Location Great!

The house itself was great as well as the location. A few minor issues with the following: front two burners on stove did not work, hole in screened in porch made it difficult for kids to stop messing with it and we ended up duck taping, a few spindles lose, MB shower door won’t close, other shower upstairs door would not open well and mold in shower. Pool great!!

Great Vacation Home, just needs the "icing on the cake"

Overall this was a very lovely home and we were very comfortable there. We had a wonderful vacation.The home is gorgeous, relaxing and well furnished, but needs a few minor updates to make it a perfect 10.Pros:- Close, easy walk to the beach- Well furnished, spacious, comfortable- Enjoyable pool and grill- Very easy check-in and check-out process- We enjoyed the rockers on the front porch- We loved the outdoor patio. It has a big table for meals, fans to stay cool, and the screen prevented bugs getting in.Cons:- Shower doors in two of the bathrooms didn't open or close easily, and we resorted to just showering with the shower doors open- Similarly, the master bathroom door didn't seem to be properly aligned and would catch at the bottom making it difficult to open.- The master bedroom carpet had clearly been pulled up to run the cable to the television under the carpet. The carpet was uneven and bunched in spots and was elevated where the cord was. This could be a trip hazard.- There were some yellow jackets at the pool initially, but we stopped seeing them after the yard was sprayed- Most notably, we found a pile of toenails on the outdoor patio that someone had apparently recently clipped. While the house itself was pretty clean, this was a pretty gross find and made us question the overall thoroughness/cleanliness (Though this was really the only thing we found.)Overall, a very nice home, but just needs a few spots of upkeep to get it to a perfect 10.

Excellent location... and the ping-pong table was a big hit!

7 41st Ave was a very comfortable house for our family of 9 with room to spare. There was a well-equipped kitchen (minus a toaster) with lots of seating around a large table. The location of the house was a plus for us. You could walk to two restaurants and enjoy some good food and drinks (no need for a designated driver) and also have a quick and easy walk to a beautiful beach. The pool was clean and well maintained. My complaints are few... there was no shower in the main floor bathroom... the sofa covers and stool cushions were soiled... and some of the toilet seats looked dirty with stains and chips.

Spring getaway

This house was perfect for our family for a weeklong getaway. I love the location near the beach, it was relaxing to sit by the pool, and the kitchen was very well equipped for easy meals at home. The area was very quiet and the beach was absolutely beautiful. I’d recommend, this place to anyone!

Much needed escape!

We stayed at this home for 7 days and can't wait to return! Check in was SO easy! Safe community, location is on a slightly busy street because the Marina is as the end of the road. Home was clean and available for check in at a reasonable time. Pool satisfied time needed to relax at the house. Furniture as clean, beds were comfortable, wifi was excellent. Our expectations were exceeded! - only issue we had was lights for pool and downstairs porch did not work or were not labeled for us to know how to turn on.

Roomy and Comfortable

We had a family vacation of 11 people (ages range from 2-83). It was comfortable and just as pictured. We had a few problems with the dishwasher and refrigerator but the contact person was very responsive and everything was taken care of quickly. The very short walk to the beach was convenient. This was our first time not directly on the beach. I did miss that. The screened in back porch was lovely. I only wish there would have been some cleaning supplies there. It wasn't terribly clean- not that I would have wanted to clean- but I would have wiped some things down. It just looked like end of season and it needs a deep clean (cabinets, floors, windows). Also, there is no toaster.

Loved our stay!

Perfect location for a family beach vacation. Property was as listed with plenty of space inside and out. Private pool was a plus as well as the large screened in porch. Kitchen was well stocked for those who love to cook. Short walk to the beach made coming back and forth a breeze. Loved the quiet non-populated beach! Highly recommend IOP and everything it has to offer.

Lovely Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property looked just as pictured in the listing, and was a short and easy walk to the beach, even with a baby. We absolutely loved the pool and screened-in porches. Some appliances could use updated, but nothing major. Would stay again!

We had a great time! Loved the pool and location! No complaints with rooms and loved the kitchen and back porch. The washer sounded like it was going to break even with a light load. Also the toaster was broken and we had to keep buying ice due to the ice maker not producing enough. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Wonderful vacay!

We throughly enjoyed ourselves!! The house, beach, and location were perfect as was our time together. The only issue we had was the disorganized kitchen. The cabinets and drawers were in a disarray. One quick minute by owners or housekeeping and this could be easily resolved. It was very frustrating trying to locate our needs but we managed. Other than that, we had an amazing time and the rental agency was very prompt and efficient when our air went out:) Thank you!

This was nearly perfect for us.

We loved, loved, loved the pool and used it several times each day. We especially enjoyed the pool the day it was cleaned. We did have to kill a few wasps at the pool and on the front porch. There's a nest in the window SE corner upstairs. Maybe more. We also loved the rockers on the front porch. We needed to wash towels. We found the washer got uneven each time we washed towels no matter how hard we tried to level the load. The dryer took more than one cycle to get things dry. The kitchen was excellent and more than adequate for making our meals except the toaster burns half of the bread and doesn't toast the other. You need to replace the toaster. The lovely, sturdy dining furniture both inside and out were greatly appreciated. When we arrived the recycle was already full, so we kept recycle in grocery bags until the container was emptied on Wednesday. You might want to consider another recycle container. We would also suggest a kitchen scissors. All the furniture in the house was fine and we found all the beds adequate except the one in the NW front upstairs room is not comfortable for 2 people. They rolled to the center. Some of us had to spend some time checking in at work. We found only one, maybe two but definitely not 3 could be on the internet at a time. The red wagon in the basement was perfect for getting the "littles" to and from the beach. Thanks! We needed more kitchen towels and you brought them right over. That was super. Thanks!

Worth every penny

This home hit ALL of our needs. Close to the beach, away from the Memorial Day crowds, and the pool was perfect. The screened in porches were the place to be since we had cooler weather.

April vacation week

This property was perfect for our family. The house itself was a great size and was exactly as it appeared online. The walk to the beach was so short and simple. We went numerous times a day and were able to enjoy the pool in between our beach visits so everyone was happy. We would most definitely stay here again if (when) we return to Isle of Palms.

Wonderful Experience

Wonderful, comfortable home conveniently located near the IOP marina and just one block from the beach. Spacious home with a huge master bedroom and another large bedroom with two queen beds (as well as two additional bedrooms). The backyard pool area felt secluded and provided for a relaxing environment. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful

We loved this home. It Has everything you need and the location is great. The only complaint we had was that landscapers came by and the pool was really dirty from all the landscaping debris. I called the management company to ask them if they can come clean the pool. I was told yes, but no one ever came. For 3 days we had dirty pool. My recommendation is to have a pool cleaning scheduled right after the landscapers.

Better Than Expected!

Based on earlier reviews, we expected the house to be short on some basics and came prepared, but we found we had what we needed for our stay over Thanksgiving. The kitchen had all the tools and appliances to prepare a Low Country Boil and large turkey breast and sides for Thanksgiving, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a meat thermometer, crab crackers, and even a rolling pin we used Christmas cookies. The house was stocked with enough paper supplies, trash bags, bath products, etc. that we could have made it several days without having to go on a grocery run like we’ve had to at some houses we’ve stayed at. Even if that’s been the case, a Harris Teeter and Target are so close that it’s very easy to make a quick run. We enjoyed having two ovens and cooking on the gas stove, but I will note that the gas settings may be a little off because it took a very long time to boil large pots of water. We had plenty of room and seating for four adults and three young kids. We didn’t find a high-chair, crib, or baby gate but never contacted the property managers to see about them because our baby is still young enough that they weren’t critical. Our older kids enjoyed the Jacuzzi in the master bath and being able to access Amazon Prime shows on the TVs. It was also nice they were able to play on the screened deck and we did get to use the ping-pong table. We couldn’t figure out where the light switches for the lower patio were to be able to play ping-pong in the evening, so a sign would be helpful. There were several signs warning about noise complaints after 10PM. We’ve liked swimming over Thanksgiving at other houses, but we did know from comments that the pool isn’t heated. We used the $250 VayK credit to rent bikes and a corn hole set. The process was easy but it’s a little deceptive that the credit doesn’t apply to fees/taxes, so it still cost us $70. We waited too long to book a house on the beach and I thought it’d be inconvenient to go back and forth with little kids. However, the house is so close to an access point that we easily made a couple trips each day. The beach itself was the best part of the trip because of the pools that form at low tide. We saw dolphins each day and found several live starfish and a live sand dollar, which was exciting. We also found DOZENS of whole sand dollars one evening, which will be one of our favorite beach memories ever.
