Winter- Located just off the highway for easy winter access, and far away enough from any road noise. Ride your snowmobile straight from the cabin with endless possibilities for exploring or trail riding. Two main spots to rent snowmobiles are a few minutes away and you can ride the snowmobile from there straight to the cabin. This cabin is a great place to enjoy the incredible winters Island Park has to offer. Two parking spaces are kept clear at the cabin, with possible room for a trailer (check current conditions). There’s also a very large common area below where people park large trailers. Most days a two wheel drive has no problem in the neighborhood, but we highly recommend AWD or 4wd if you happen to stay during a storm. Summer - Cabin is located just 20 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. This cabin has been used as a gathering place for friends and families throughout the years and has everything you need to feel right at home. A quiet and secluded spot to relax after a day of visiting the park. Other than the owners garage, the adjacent lots are undeveloped fields of wild flowers and Aspen trees. The other side of the street is completely undeveloped wilderness and makes for great sunsets. You have a great chance at seeing moose as they seem to make the neighborhood their home over the summer months. The cabin is nestled in a wooded neighborhood, giving you a break from the wind and weather while also being conveniently located, offering easy access to the many activities that Island Park has to offer. Very easy to access and find only needing two turns once you have exited the highway. Property manager has five stars with all of his properties, lives two lots away, and will have a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies waiting for you upon arrival. The porch of this cabin is spectacular! A great place to unwind and enjoy the fresh mountain air. The yard has a swingset and firepit that you are more than welcome to use. Kitchen is more than fully stocked with utensils and appliances needed for cooking. While the cabin can fit more guests, we limit it to eight people to minimize wear and tear. Cabin is well insulated and does not have AC being we have had snow storms the last two years in June. There is heat, including a propane fire stove. We hope to see you this summer!
