Lazy Daze Lodge on Bill's Island near West Yellowstone National Park

Nestled in a quiet corner on Bill's Island is a beautiful cabin waiting for you to come create lasting memories with your friends and family. Lazy Daze Lodge offers a unique mix of luxury and comfort combined nicely to create a warm, cozy atmosphere for you to enjoy as a home base while you enjoy all your outdoor adventures. It's truly a unique and beautiful cabin that has so many extras!
The floor plan is set up perfectly for multiple families with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main floor and a loft with 7 single beds above the ground floor. The stamped concrete floors are such a beautiful feature that keeps the cabin cool during the warm Idaho summers. The cozy fireplace and heaters in each area of the cabin help everyone stay as warm and toasty as they like during the cold winter months.
The cabin is located only 22 miles from West Yellowstone, gateway to Yellowstone National Park and 75 miles from Grand Teton National Park, on the desirable Bill's Island gated community. The proximity to Yellowstone along with the extraordinary hunting, fishing, water sports and hundreds of miles of ATV trails make Island Park a perfect summer vacation spot. During the winter, we receive an average snowfall of 9 feet which results in beautiful scenery and the perfect area for enjoying miles of groomed snowmobile trails and acres and acres of open meadows to play in. Downhill skiing and snowboarding at Grand Targhee or Big Sky is not far away or take advantage of the snow coach ride in Yellowstone Park. Cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing are other popular winter activities that will make days end at the cabin in front of the fireplace oh so inviting.

Fully appointed with high end appliances, furnishings, and necessities, the lodge has everything you need to just show up and enjoy. Being nestled into the Bills Island community provides the sought after mix of relaxing natural surroundings with the ability to find new friends at either of the two Lodges nearby.

Bring your toys! Lots of nearby trails and access offers great opportunities for riders of all levels and you can ride straight from the cabin.

You'll love the opportunity to relax, unwind, and spend some Lazy Daze at the Lodge.

Visiting Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks

2 families traveled from Minnesota and Wisconsin to visit Yellowstone National Park. The location of this property allowed my family to also visit Grand Teton for a long day. The trip to the west gate of Yellowstone was very doable on a daily basis, but you are far enough away to escape some of the tourist craziness of West Yellowstone. 2 families with only 1 entry gate card made for a little bit of a slow down at the gate but overall the property is as advertised; roomy, clean, a lot of beds, well setup for multiple families. For some, the distance from the city might be a drawback but for us it was great! Highly recommend Cafe Sabor and Sam Patch Groceries and Sundries if you stay in the area. Both of the National Parks are great too and this location allows you to hit both if you choose.

Lovely stay at Lazy Daze Lodge

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a nice home away from home. Not too far from Yellowstone. A few enjoyed the local flyfishing and also a trip to Mesa Falls. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent Cabin & Even better property manager!

This cabin is amazing! Everything we needed. Clean, new, modern and tons of space. Though we wished it had lakefront access, we still managed to have such a great time! Thank you to Sharie who made our stay possible. Our best VRBO experience so far!!

Family Retreat

Very roomy and cozy!

The rental process was easy and straight forward! The cabin location was in a good location with a short distance to the trail heads. The cabin was very cozy and the space was used wisely for maximum occupants. The cabin was very clean and tidy! This was one of our favorite rentals so far!

Wonderful property, great communication!

This is a wonderful property nestled in the woods of Island Park. We had 3 families with 14 total heads in beds! There was room for all and the cabin is set up perfectly for a large group like ours. The property manager is VERY responsive and the check in and check our process is well defined and easy to follow. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Exellent Family Cabin

We had a great stay in this cabin. It was clean, well organized and an excellent place for a large multi-family gathering. All the kids fit perfectly upstairs in the bunk room and the adults down stairs in the 4 bedrooms. Great place and location.

Great place for family to gather.

We had 8 adults and 3 children staying at the cabin. The rooms were nice and the beds cumfy. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and unwind. It was fun to play corn hole and relax after our fun days exploring Yellowstone. The host was very accommodating and helpful . A very beautiful cabin!

Great family vacation!

We had such a great time this weekend at Lazy Days Lodge! It was close to the lake and private. We had four families there and each one was impressed with the place. It was very clean, lots of dishes and everything we needed. There are four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lodge upstairs for the kids. Plenty of room for all of us. There was in issue with the BBQ and the owner was happy to answer our call and help. It ended up working so the problem was resolved, but I was very impressed how the owner was willing to help so quickly. It was a great vacation! I also suggest going to the main lodge and playing on the floating trampolines! So much fun!

Wonderful and Clean

We had a nice stay there. It was properly organized and everything was available for a 5-star stay. I would definitely go for it again if I get a chance. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yellowstone.
