«The Albemarle distinguishes itself in its attention to detail. Best shower I had in three weeks in Ecuador. Lots of hot water. Used books by the bed to read, board games...the list goes on. Plus the beachfront location is great with lots of bars and eating places within 5 min walk.Plus very attentive and helpful staff especially Samy at reception. «We had a wonderful time! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we also enjoyed an amazing dinner during our stay. The cocktails were delicious and perfectly made. «Lovely hostal on Isabella Island! I've stayed at 4 hostels in the islands and this one was by far my fav. Many lacked the social aspect, but here the owners have a lovely beach bar across the road where they hosted events (game nights, trivia, etc) which was great to meet other travellers. The rooms were spacious, shower was hot, rooftop area was nice. Only 1 item I disliked - 2 of the windows in my room were just screens at the top and couldn't be closed, so you could hear all the noise from ...

He went above and beyond to make our stay special — from thoughtful recommendations tailored to our interests to small personal touches that made us feel more like guests in a friend’s home than in a hotel. He is passionate about what he does, and it shows. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and well-located — but it’s Gian Carlos who truly makes Hotel La Laguna unforgettable. The breakfast is also super and the chef prepares personalized dishes to your pleasing. They also serve local products produced at local farms on the island. We can definitely recommend staying in La Laguna if you plan to visit Isabela. "
