«Beautiful B&B in town, and very helpful staff who helped any time I had questions. The room was quaint and the A/C worked well. Had options for made-to-order breakfasts and a cute upstairs area with an honor bar. Able to keep things in a community fridge with sections for each room.»

Unfortunately, our experience at Tropical Suites in Colón Island, Bocas del Toro, was not a good one. From the moment we arrived, we noticed that the staff was not particularly friendly or helpful, which immediately affected our first impression.
Once we entered our room, things did not improve. The room was visibly unclean, with a significant amount of dust around the bedboard and long hairs in the bathroom and even on the towels. The hairdryer was broken ...

«This place was perfect. I walked into town and beach every day. They have a fully functional outdoor community kitchen which is perfect for families. A family cooked there every day and I made smoothies. It was very clean and staff was extremely nice and helpful. Will be back.»

«The staff is very helpful and attentive, the hotel is beautiful, sparkling clean and the garden is lush. I need to mention that entry with a vehicle can be be difficult because the gate can be opened only from the reception and if no one is available, there is just no way to open it. And it is a longish walk from the gate to the hotel, which we had to do under pouring rain to get to our taxi outside. Other than that, the stay was amazing and even better than expected for the price. Honestly ...
